You have been implying, over and over, that republicans could have done anything they wanted for those two years but didn't.

The fact of the matter is that they have been hamstringed all along by 100% default opposition by the democrats, and the establishment resistance within their own party.

No. I have quite clearly and correctly pointed out they could have built their wall or done any number of things regarding immigration, but chose not to because they don’t care about it.

This is a pathetic excuse and rationalization for republican incompetence.

No, I explained it. However the explanation is outside your limited ideological bias so you can't understand it.

Believe me, you're not the only one on this forum like that.

I know. You can’t deal with the reality of republican incompetence, so you have to rationalize. It’s amusing. Lol

It's about free will and choice. I think she can learn but there needs to be something to make the lesson sink in. Maybe a little pain (politically) to help the lesson sink in deeper.

In California they just dropped the zoning requirements in many residential neighborhoods.

So single family homes are now occupied by 20 people. Cars everywhere, kids everywhere, traffic everywhere.

Weird that after winning office he talks and acts like a conservative in every possible way. You'd think that a closet leftist would keep breaking cover by accident if nothing else like -- say -- Mitt Romney so very frequently does. Trump should have been an actor, because with that sort of character control he certainly would have won an Oscar.

Its a thing with illegals not to wear seatbelts and to drive drunk. Anyone who's spent time in Mexico has seen this.

So she was for it, before she was against it, but now she's for it again?

She sounds like a brilliant mind and a strong leader (to democrats apparently)

Pass a bill that Trump could sign for funds for the wall.

    Your statement is not factual.

    Israels wall...

After breaking ground in 2010, Israel completed the 242-km. (150-mile) fence in December 2013 at a cost of around $450 million. Whereas about 9,500 Africans crossed into Israel illegally in the first six months of 2012, less than three dozen did so in the first six months of 2013, at which time the major components of the barrier had been completed.

Illegal immigration through Sinai dropped to 11 cases in 2016 and 0 in 2017.

The fence also has dramatically reduced the smuggling of contraband into Israel and there have been no security breaches from Sinai since then (although the local ISIS-affiliated group has fired rockets at the Israeli Red-Sea resort city of Eilat on a few occasions).

With Israel’s southern fence halting immigration completely, both the Trump administration and many U.S. advocates of tougher immigration policies have taken notice. Notably, Elta North America, a subsidiary of Israel Aerospace Industries, was one of eight companies chosen to build a prototype for the planned wall along the frontier with Mexico.

Were closing in 100,000 illegal crossings a month with not enough resources and nowhere to put them.

At what point does it become an emergency? 200,000 a month? How about 500,000? Do we keep hiring more agents? How much do we need to spend?

Or is it just not an emergency until Trump is out of office?

It wasn't an emergency before him. It wasn't an emergency his first 2 years in office. The Dems win the House, now it's an emergency. LOL

Because it's impossible. Stop being disingenuous.

You can keep the vast majority of them out. The left just doesn't want to.

I said the solution is simple. I never said implementing it is.

You can not argue that keeping them out doesn't save american lives. So why is the left so against border security? And when you respond telling me the left isn't against it, I'm going to ask you what they've done or even formally proposed.

Turns once nice neighborhoods into Brazil. All for Liberal PC. Who cares about being able to afford to live someplace when you can pack 20 people into a 4 BR home? And yes. They’re dirty. They don’t care about their surroundings and they spread blight and increase crime. It’s not conjecture. It’s fact.

You are mistaking refugee/asylum seekers for illegal immigrants. Glad I could clear that up for you.

Mit Romney is a moderate Republican and not a "closet leftist" who puts country before his own pocket.
Agree about Trump. Unfortunately, he is in the highest office and is incompetent and divisive. We don't need an Oscar winner making
life and death decisions for our country.
