    Fox News does not use affiliate stations, it is a cable news network seperate from the Fox entertainment broadcast and the affiliate stations that make up it's network like other privately owned affiliates of Fox or NBC or ABC. Sinclair doesn't own Fox it owns some broadcast stations that are affilates of Fox. Did you note that Sinclair owns more ABC affiliates than Fox affiliates?
