Paul asked her whether the government should take action to override the wishes of parents and minors. He was the on who was asking for the government to mandate something. Not her.

Third -
She avoided answering the question. Personally I think that was weak. But it doesn’t support your assertion that she advocates for government mandated child abuse. That assertion is so false it is silly.

 

Gosh, child genital mutilation isn't child abuse? Rachel has, in the past advocated for government ignoring the wishes of parents.
