Bradley "fighting vehicles" once the very model for an over expensive and ineffective piece of military hardware until the F-35 was invented.

This is becoming tedious. You're on ignore from now on so save our bandwidth.

Whenever a national tragedy has occurred, the POTUS at that time would address the nation. The would show deep empathy for the families affected. This, of course should have been done sooner, but it's happening now.

And what about sympathy for the families of cancer victims? Are they less important than COVID victims?

Of course not. Based upon your question, can I assume you don't see this pandemic as a national (even worldwide) tragedy?

I would have thought that in your 80 years you would have learned to read and understand, what people are wrighting.

First it was Republic now it is Federalism, same difference when it comes to leader ship.

Its now Germany, but it is by its constitution and the constitutions of its State, The Federal Republic of Germany.

    Got it.

Tragedy in terms of death count?

Deaths. Loss of income. Fear. The list goes well beyond death. But a good start is to acknowledge those who were lost and those who lost them.

Then in answer to your question, yes, the deaths from COVID are a tragedy, but it's nowhere near as much of a tragedy as cancer deaths. Do you acknowledge that?

Of course! There is huge tragedy in cancer and the bigger tragedy is that in our advanced world, we still cannot 'cure' it.

Okay. So to your earlier comment:
And what about sympathy for the families of cancer victims? Are they less important than COVID victims? Also, hasn't Trump 'addressed' the nation on COVID?

Of course there is great sympathy for families of cancer victims. As for Trump, I have yet to see any footage of him addressing the nation - as other presidents have done - discussing and expressing national sympathy for covid victims and their families. Outside of him saying one was too many.

Yes, so then shouldn't Biden include them?

Oh for heaven's sake - why are you finding it so wrong that an incoming leader acknowledge the tragedy/phenomenon that is/was Covid in 2020? It is nothing like cancer except in cases where they ended in death. Cancer isn't caught by breathing the air of the infected. It is not transmitted on hard surfaces. It does not require that people stop gathering in masses for fear of infection. It does not take the life of a healthy person in a matter of days/weeks after contraction.

I'm not saying that it's WRONG, it's just ridiculous to focus on one form of death - a form of death which is nowhere near as bad as other forms of death such as cancer, which claimed twice as many lives in the US in 2019. So again, what's so special about COVID deaths making it worthy of a 'national memorial?'

Well this doesn't make it any less worthy of recognition than cancer! Besides, what the hell does any of this have to do with Biden's 'national memorial' for COVID-19 victims? The 'death' part is the only part which matters with regard to this memorial.

Yeah, and do you know what takes the life of a healthy person in a matter of MILLISECONDS? Have a think about that.

Biden is such a drama queen. With CDC's correction in August regarding the 94% and 6% ratio regarding deaths, is Joe going to commemorate the 94% or the 6%?

    Joe, you're such a Queen!

Unless Biden and his party can exploit your death for their own personal and political purposes, then they care very much.

The CDC wasn't saying that only 6% died from COVID, just that 6% died EXCLUSIVELY from COVID. Now, there's a good chance that the 94% weren't going to live for much longer anyway. It would make more sense for Joe to commemorate cancer victims or car crash victims, who were expected to live for much longer than most people in that 94%.

I'm guessing that you mean ONLY IF Biden and his party can exploit your death for their own personal and political purposes, then they care very much.
