    A seller with a 60 billion € budget surplus.

Which means we can lose 60 billion € without any effect.

How powerful the Uk alone is, can be seen right now. Iran whips them on teh floor and humilates them infront the entire world.

There is a reason why the Eu let this happen.

Iran depeds havily on the trade with Europe. They are in a very weak position, yet they mop the floor with the UK.

I think all reasonable British just expect a free trade agreement. That’s it. Germany will be more interested in it because once Britain leaves Germans will start seeing drop in imports. UK can literally push you into a recession.

You won't have that big a surplus if the UK stop buying your ****.

The story with Iran is not over. The pause is due to PM change.
Even still, UK actually confronted Iran. Something that none of you ever do.
Your surplus means little if your economy contracts. And it did last year.

Exactly - a buyer can chose to go buy things elsewhere. A seller doesn’t have that luxury. By November we will see Germany being cornered by the U.K.

No free trade without free movement of people. Also open border between Ireland and Northern Ireland is a must.

    I would love a recession.

We would have a 2.5% drop. UK a drop around 20%.

You actually did still not answer what Johnson does if the Eu makes no concession and let the UK fail.

What does he do when evrything falls down for him?

He will just continue be a leader of a free country. Even if it fails (which is extremely unlikely).

42% of the UK trade depends on the EU, take that away its GDP will be far less than Italy's

Sure they can have a trade agreement, but the EU will make sure it will be good for the EU.
The UK will go into a recession, with a no deal Brexit and will have very little push left over.

That's a constant, unfortunately. We are talking about human beings, after all.

Surrendering your sovereignty should never be one of "the responsibilities".

That alone is worth leaving the EU and the Brits should have seen that reasserting their sovereignty over an arrogant and unresponsive entity in Brussels would result in a hard (no deal) Brexit, and I'm sure many of them did. Expecting the leopard to suddenly change its spots was expecting too much.

Main import partner for the U.K. is Germany.
Main export partner is the US.

Germany has a negative GDP growth (contraction) -1.5%. Britain has a positive growth of 2%. Britain can chose to import from countries other than Germany. Germany doesn’t have that flexibility and will have the most to lose.

Britain’s losses are going to be minimal.

    Thank you.
The EU is a country when it comes to trade. The UK can trade with Germany or France but just under WTO rules.
Outside the EU you have the other big players, with which little UK would have to deal with and with no trade deals at all, good luck.
British arrogance and stiff upper lip just go so far. All ready having a deficit, a dysfunctional government, industry owned by foreign companies and so on and so on, not a good start.

    Good luck.

    Yes (sarcasm)
Witness the benefits of the E.U. for Greece and its fisheries.
For Greece and the Greek economy and for the more agricultural south
    members among the E.U.
The E.U. is about "bankers", not peoples.

Let Germany, France and Belgium have their own economic "sandbox" to play
while others consider their nation's people, interests.

Boris still has to get a no deal Brexit through Parliament if he can't or won't negotiate with the EU.
