It wouldn’t be.”legal” for Biden to appoint a Justice? How so?

That's my point. She can't run an election without 1 billion$ and 20 million$ in dept. Don't you think that left even a bunch of Dems with their panties in knots?:cynic:

After a week of her kackles, the other SC judges would probably resign simply to avoid suicide.

While sotomayor is a so so justice-she at least had plausible credentials with a top honors degree from Princeton and an editorship on the Yale law journal plus several years as a district Judge, then a circuit judge for 11 years and then USSC. her qualifications are light years past Bubblehead in every possible way

she's not smart enough, her legal credentials are mediocre and she would be destroyed in a senate hearing by really smart attorneys like Ted Cruz (top at Harvard Law) Josh Hawley (Yale law -supreme court clerk) Tom cotton (Harvard law) John Kennedy (phi beta Kappa at Vanderbilt and Order of the Coif at UVA law). some of the democrats might ask her some tough questions as well: U of Chicago Law Review editor Amy Klobuchar probably being the brightest member of the majority

No it wasn't, and the reality is reflected in the election results.

those are our two best justices but they might step aside so Trump can put a couple really good conservative 45 year old types on the court and guess what-the Dems cannot stop it

no it didn't 'indisputably declare will of the people.' Most of the people isolated from the truth or fed misinformation 24/7 from a RW propaganda machine. Aside from all that, you had Trump supporters burning ballot boxes, punching poll workers in the face, threatening voters with machetes, and calling in bomb threats to polling sites around country.

oh i see, if Republican, they 'step aside' but if Democrat, they 'forced out.' RGB is the biggest example of how wrong you are.

Propaganda is a left wing thing, utilizing the msm to its fullest, and sounds like you bought some of it. Yes this election went to Trump in an overwhelming fashionable and this indisputable.y delivered the will of the people. You are gonna have to sit back and ensure seeing the country solidify itself as conservative for the rest of your life once Trump gets another SC pick...making it nearly 50 percent a Trump SC.

    Haha!

They pulled a coup off once before the election.... no one was held accountable....why not pull off a second.... run off the sitting president or judge.... and INSTALL the one they want....

    Look familiar
We are seeing a replay of this at the DNC ???
They do this in communist countries, just like we did here...
Bye Bye Hu.... Bye Bye Sotomayor..

Well, when you're ready to explain why the Republican Supreme Court decided the 9th and 14th amendments no longer apply to women, I'll be listening.

We've seen how this works, Nemy, and here's a summary -- assuming that the presidency and Senate are ruled by the same party :

    1. The president picks who he wants to be on the SCOTUS.
    2. That person's name (along with a small assortment of others to make it look fair) is given to the Senate for confirmation.
    3. That person is confirmed by the Senate, puts on the robes, and instantly becomes a Justice on the Supreme Court.

That's the 'short' version, but when you mash all the air bubbles out of it, that is pretty much how it goes... and it's true under both Republicans and Democrats.
