I only agree that Dems bungled it. If you want to win, you have to show up with a game plan and then execute it. I can't see that the Dems had the first or did the latter.

They did whine that the game wasn't "fair." That's a loser's argument.

 

There was no need! Both were interviewed directly by the Senate! All the FBI was doing is relating info to them.

 

Seems like a bait post really. The dems don't have the majority, it was never their plan to win this just show how the Trumpers are the loudest whining victims and show Kavanaugh for who he really is.

 

The Senate is not the FBI. And, then they tied the FBI's hands.........hello.

I took a 5 minute break to check Meet the Press. Chris Coons was asked, "Why did the Democrats lose all their arguments, that Kav was not of the mainstream, lacked judicial temperament, that this is an election year, that he engaged in sexual misconduct?"

Coons answer, "this process was unfair from the beginning."

Like I said, it's a loser's argument. Quite nauseating, actually.

What you do when you get bucked off a horse is, dust yourself off and get back on the horse. What you do not do is say, "the fix was in."

Flake got precisely what he asked for at the time he asked for it. A deal is a deal.

Flake did not ask for an open-ended drawn out investigation.

As to whatever he or Coons said later that might have attempted to move the goal posts, that ain't relevant. A deal is a deal.

Senator Flake made the deal and Trump went along with Flake's deal.

 

Correct, and Flake didn't have to agree even to that.

Dems bungled it and they're blaming Republicans. What else can they do?

I have a question: do Leftists realize that their antics, like hounding Cruz out of a restaurant and banging on the Supreme Court doors, yelling at senators in elevators, disrupting the vote in the senate, is actually a turnoff to normal people? If they know, why did they do it?

My own belief is that they just crave attention, and don't really care whether it is counterproductive.

If you understand the what, it is not necessary to understand the why, or even ask "why?"

It's visceral, when you see it with the eyes, you understand it is visceral hate, you know immediately what it is. It's not complicated at all.
