Newsnight has just said that her Dad has said she is staying in a refugee camp with other ex or ISIS and that was why she spoke as she did. That sounds credible to me.

Yes, I read that. Are you thinking she just wants to leave ISIS in order to have a live child? It would be a credible reason but it still would not explain her speaking in the way she did. That really does not sound genuine to me. Obviously I did not see her say it but it just does not ring genuine. Who the hell would say about seeing human heads in a bin 'that did not faze me'. She is emphasising her belonging to ISIS. Would she really expect anyone from the West to work to get her home if that was her attitude. As it happens she does have the right to return here and almost certainly will but is she really so naïve that she believes that telling someone who could help her that she has no problems seeing the heads of dead humans in a bin would be the thing to motivate them to help her? Does she believe this is something any 'normal' person would say? I don't think so. Is she a damaged. ****ed up young woman because of what she was groomed to do four years ago, much more likely. We made a big fuss about these girls managing to leave. We made a big fuss about them being minors and it was our responsibility to look after them. Now whatever she has become since has been as a result of that initial grooming which at the time we believed was not our responsibility. We do not know what has happened to her since though it appears she was just involved in making and losing babies. If we came from a sane position of humanity we would want to help her to recover. If we do that whether she does or not will largely depend on how good are those working with her. However we rarely act in a sane way with humanity. Did you know that the UK had a psychiatrist who worked with psychopaths in prison and managed to get them to have empathy! - everyone agreed this had been achieved. The response of our Gov? Finding out how he had achieved it in order to help other psychopaths? No, they said they did not have enough money to support him continuing his work and ended it.

 

I agree with you.. We at least should make an effort to help her.

The first thing we should be doing is banning faith schools in this country, segregation and selection of children by the religion of their parents either on the mainland or the Catholic/Protestant divide in NI is a disgrace. That we actually pay our taxes for this segregation is appalling.

Well our State schools do hold at least a minimal of support to Protestant Churches. Most primary schools for instance take the kids to a special service at Christmas....and my grandkids have come back and asked about this God and Jesus. We tried to ban all Religious Schools in Scotland. We did not want to make again the same mistakes with Muslims as we had with Catholics - that is the Catholic schools were started because of prejudice towards Catholics but instead of solving that problem it made it much worse. The Catholics would have none of it.

 

Schools should be places of learning not effing places of brainwashing!!

Owing to the news last night, where various shrinks were subtly offering their thoughts for government ministers' ears, I'm going to revise my prediction above as to the outcome of this story: Despite Javid Sijad's (whatever it is) assurances that her repatriation isn't guaranteed (it is, and he knows it), this traitor will be taken on by the government to opine what made her sign up to the jihad, and what, in her wisdom, should be done to er, 'de-radicalize' ( ) other young women who might be so inclined. Unless this girl has taken some other nationality Britain cannot refuse her citizenship as it is against international law to make a person stateless.

There will be consequences if she does return though, she will face prosecution and most likely have the baby (it has now been born) taken into care.
