    And when ever a violent felon is taken down in the act the community as a whole benefits. It needs to happen more often.

    You have better buddies than I do lol. I can't go a week without walking in on somebody telling some extremely exaggerated war story to somebody. It's usually just at bars and usually when talking to women. Or talking loudly on purpose when women are nearby.

    "And the chopper came in fast and set us down a few hundred meters from the LZ and the door gunners were blazing away and we had to run to perimeter to set up security because we knew the enemy was nearby!"

    The Chinook set us down over there because there was a herd of goats on the normal LZ and it came in fast with the door gunners shooting because they always do that because it's protocol it's called a combat insertion and by set up security you mean you walked up to the guard tower with a soda and sat there bored as hell for the next 12 hours....Shut the hell up dude lol

    Well, you have to cut a guy some slack when talking to the enemy, but women know many men will tell them anything.
    The smartest of us know we have a better chance just telling them the truth - you know using the element of surprise. ;-)

    Let the law abiding arm themselves and it will happen much more often - at least for a little while.

    About as long as it took terrorist fanatics to learn to stop trying to take over passenger aircraft.

    Yeah you're right. I guess me still momentarily panicking when I hear a door slam over a decade after a pretty nasty indirect fire attack on my outpost is the result of lack of quality training.

    I need to write US Army TRADOC and tell them they need to start setting off mortars next to people on a daily basis during basic training so that our troops brains will be better conditioned to handle that and won't cause them problems later on like freaking out whenever fireworks go off.

    The reason why training isn't fool proof is because your human brain knows that you aren't actually in danger. The "I can actually die" reflex doesn't exist, regardless of how realistic the training is. Real war activates that "I can actually die" impulse which is not the same as just being stressed out.

    Only way to "train" a human brain to react accordingly once you realize "I can actually die" is to well, put you in that situation.

    So to do what you are asking requires actually trying to kill trainees, and actually succeeding every once and awhile so that during training everybody's "holy **** I can actually die" impulse's are always online.

    Yeah...we obviously can't do that.

    It seldom happens where it is needed most - our failed crime ridden cities.

    I suspect most law abiding people in those cities would arm themselves if it was easy enough to get the permit.

    lots of dead criminals-upsetting to some on the left as well as the anti gun movement. Not upsetting to those of us who support good citizens.

    why do you post stuff you clearly know is not truthful or that you cannot support? Sorry Vegas, if we don't buy into your plans to harass gun owners-that is not the same as saying we don't care about "dead children"-the majority of gun shot children come from inner cities where there are strict gun laws

    Your posts about how all gun control is just politically driven tool to get democrats elected is laughable. We see the pictues of these dead kids on the internet all the time now. And when you are asked for a plan you say why should I come up with a plan. We are left with the obvious conclusion. You just don't care.

    I never see you talk about a plan to prevent rapes. Why not? Do you just not care? How about a plan to prevent child molestation? No plan...why not? Do you not care about children being molested?
    Just because someone doesn't have a plan doesn't mean they don't care.
