From the testimony I have heard at these hearings Trump has only one defense

"not guilty by reason of insanity".

only a madman could do the things that have been described by the witnesses

What surprises me is just how many times since 2016 that you folks have been absolutely convinced that "this is it", and never do you seem to take your past disappointments into account when going full-fledged into your next declaration of the same.

I think she is very brave and honorable for coming forward and speaking out. She and Cheney have more cajones than the so-called "men" racing to Florida to kiss his backside.

It's gratifying to see The Following stop speaking as though the 1/6 riot was the only facet of the attempted coup. The granular detail presented by the 1/6 committee, which is not done, has shown the public the many layers of the plot. From Clark almost becoming AG, the letter he wrote to enlist the help of GA election officials, Trump's efforts to corrupt election officials, the coercion directed at Pence, the submission of fake sets of electors, unleashing the mob to stop Biden's certification, etc.
Lots of time and effort went in to stealing the election from Biden and the public.

While I admire her for coming forward and testifying at this time, and applaud her for doing the right thing now, she is not a hero.

A hero would have been talking before it happened. She merely failed to be the villain they expected her to be.

she was a 25 year old congressman's aid .. what was she supposed to do?? She is not a elected official or law enforcement officer ..she had no authority to press charges or make accusations

you have a candidate (Hillary) that conspired with the DNC (Democratic National Committee) to fabricate evidence of Trump and Russia conspiring... and that's not speculation, it's proven. How can anyone back people capable of that kind of treason and complain about injustice?

Nobody moved to arrest the Dems involved. Biden is aiding and abetting illegal immigration in multiple ways everyday, violating the same laws that many businesses have been prosecuted under for hiring an illegal (known or not, they "should have" known) and that is a Federal felony.... yet Biden is doing it, the news is documenting it, everybody knows it- and none on the left say anything.

The house of the dems and their conspirators is so full of malice and hate and lies that none of them should expect to be given any credibility at all; everything they say and do is suspect until proven otherwise, which doesn't ever come out good. The people who put them in that position- was themselves. Don't blame Trump for that emotional train wreck and the bad conduct of the people you endorse and cut slack for their crimes. I could not disagree more. What all this has taught ME is that there are honest people in both parties. And that those individuals will do the right thing despite being under pressure by the most corrupt individual imaginable. What we need to do is empower those individuals. If we can accomplish that, we have two good alternatives.
