We have a lot of Vietnamese here, too, and they just work hard and are pleasant to talk to. Same with Koreans and Chinese. Most people from India are also pleasant and hard working,,,as are many Mexicans and other Hispanics, and many blacks and Euro whites. It's really only some of the religiously ambitious Muslims and the stupider blacks and whites that are pitas, IMO.

Man; I can see the Trump legend grow as you speak...I can see him now, on a Kabuki stage, with thunderbolts coming from his ankles and elbows, as he does a little dance of rage and the Japanese musicians try to emulate the sounds of thunder with cymbals......

And they call us gringos. What's wrong with wet back other than liberals don't like it? If you say it's derogatory, then how? You liberals call people rednecks and hicks and don't think twice about - these are your fellow Americans you're talking about. But this is what liberals do, they invent things to be offended by; we can say people of color but can't say colored people. We can cut nationalities short and call them Aussies, Brits and Poles, but we can't say Japs. 10 years ago calling a queer a queer was offensive and insulting, today queers are proud to be called queers. Anyway, if the term wetback offends you, then imagine how people might feel when they're called bigots, racists and Nazis.

I think you're searching too far. Even if it's not in texas, they heard of Charlottesville events. They're self revendicate if I remember well "humour bête et méchant" or "stupid and mean humor" in english.

Their is a part of cultural difference, because french people are more pessimistic and sardonic, but they tend to shock even in France.

Charlie Hebdo can print whatever they want. They will live or die by their financial support. They obviously won't get any from Texas now, but they probably didn't anyway. They are playing to their market by calling Texans nazis and being edgy and controversial. The next time a Muslim group attacks them, Texans will care a lot less.

There's no "almost" about it. They're under almost total control of the treasonous bitards that have been exporting much of our manufacturing base.

The leftists don't seem to realize that islamists are indiscriminate in their killings, that people of all beliefs, colors and religions are vulnerable.

Charlie Hebdo was never that amusing but people are allowed to say stupid things also without losing their lives. Texans are intelligent enough to recognize that, and dismiss it, while Muslims are not.

Which "leftists" did not realize that terrorists are indiscriminate in their killings?

Those who try to defend the Islamists, or downplay their attitudes toward women, Gays, education, and in general the 'not all Muslims are terrorists" folks. You must have noticed this.

Charlie Hebdo had/have a lot of flaws, but they were one of the few one to treat equally jews, muslims and christians. Mocking them equally. They have a lot of flaws, not the one of lacking of coherency globally.

Have they mocked Muhammad lately? Just curious if they moved on to a new category of safer offending.

We saw a great many "Je suis Charlie Hebdo" buttons being worn by celebrities who wanted to pretend how brave they were but that has long gone and the victims of that attack remain largely forgotten. Of course fears remain about "Islamophobia" and any possible "backlash" against Muslims following these attacks. The trend appears to be in one directions, and more Muslims are arriving in Europe every day. To complain about your culture being commandeered is also "Islamophobia".

The recent attacks in Spain left the news just a few days after it occurred. Remembrance of 9/11 victims in the US will be largely forgotten and, to some, in poor taste because they may cause offense to Muslims, and we certainly wouldn't want that..

I don't read that newspaper so I can't tell you. It wouldn't be impossible. Before being attacked, they did a comic telling the life of Muhammed.

The problem is that a lot of people mistake "tolerance" for don't having opinion.

For instance, thinking that judaism is dumb isn't being intolerant. Preventing a jew, harrassing him or being violent against him is to be intolerant but too much people think that to criticize is to be intolerant.

I personnaly think that freedom has two limits : our personnal freedom end when the freedom of someone else end, and in a generaly way, I think that rules is what enable societies exist. Societies need rules, taboos, and so tolerance can't be perfect.

If you can act like this about the Leftist besmirching of America's good name you are either not an American or you are a traitor.

It looks like you're building up to make an especially big "contribution", then.

IMO it is actually posters that try to besmirch the reps of good posters on here, that start the rot in the barrel.

    Have a nice day.
