And here we have a classless act committed by classless people. But the whole Nazi thing would never have been an issue if this country's left wing media didn't broadcast 24/7 that a few Nazis marching around means our entire country is crawling with them. The left wing media is destroying our reputation, they broadcast that we're all racists, homophobes, Islamophobes, fascists, and now Nazis. When a French magazine is calling Texans Nazis then we all know our own media has done their job by spreading their own hate for this country worldwide. Thanks CNN, MSNBC, NBC, etc.

    which is cool, really.

it's in very poor taste, but they should be free to print this .... or pictures of the Prophet of Peace.

You're a tad late to the party. The world has known about Texas for decades.

    Totally.

Even if some people deem it to be in "poor taste", they have every right to print it.

Certain people need to lighten up.

How does that old saying go?

"If they can't take a joke, eff 'em." :salute:

Great, we'll remember the next time Paris falls.

Which should be pretty soon I'd guess.

I don't find it especially funny .. a little too 'sneering tosser' for my tastes, but I defend their right to say whatever the hell they want, however objectionable it is to me personally.

Well. Send them a package of frogs stuffed with manure. They're Charlie Hedbo, they can take it. They sure have right to post shιt like that. Does not means you don't have right to give them non-violent, but memorable feedback.

Three dozen or a dozen dozen or whatever people die in a storm and the world stops in its tracks. Far more people than that will die without access to healthcare in Texas in because of the lingering effects of this storm and the chronic conditions it causes, but nobody will care, at least not in Texas, at least not enough to actually help its own citizens. Too many Texans want to deport people back to hell holes instead of giving the chance to actually stay. Perhaps the nazi flags are inaccurate, but they do reflect the heartless nature of the state's politics. Maybe they will learn from this, but I am not going to hold my breath. I far more expect them to use the "cost of the hurricane" to screw more people and put more people's lives in danger. As far as I am concerned it it is the one true soulless state in the Union. That someone in France has taken note should be the least of their concerns. They can choose a better path, but they won't.

'Heartless' sounds like you're saying they torture kittens for no reason.

With respect, too many westerners don't understand (apparently at all) the concept of 'cruel to be kind'. I know nothing of Texas really, but perhaps their interest in deporting illegals is actually 'heart'. They're trying to protect and care for their citizens.

So letting people die from lack of access to healthcare is humane? Hummmmm......sounds like I need to rethink the appropriateness of the Nazi flag they used for Texas after all.

Houston is blue, and one of the most diverse population in the US. Care to try again?

You might want to take a look at the Texans most impacted by the storm before defending said French magazine.

I'm sure the fact that Texans have been calling Mexicans w*t***ks for over 80 years is representative of their good heart.

One more time. I didn't defend anyone. I responded this: "The left wing media is destroying our reputation, they broadcast that we're all racists, homophobes, Islamophobes, fascists, and now Nazis. When a French magazine is calling Texans Nazis then we all know our own media has done their job by spreading their own hate for this country worldwide."

And if you are going to characterize Texans as Nazis, then you are no different than the alt-right you condemn. It is still flat-out bigotry.

The media didn't need to do a thing.

Trump has done a great job of getting the world to hate the USA.
