About Charlie Hebdo, it's not a call to violence, it's simply dark humour.

 

I don't think the Left has been nearly this violent in the last 20 years. If you do not think things have gotten far worse from about 2007 to today you haven't been paying attention. The Left's violence started verbally against Bush, then Obama came in and drastically separated the country. Now we have Trump who was nominated by a group of people tired of being berated by Obama, they wanted to vote someone in who would attack back. So now we have both groups going after each others' throats without thinking.

And I have to bring it up since it is incredibly frustrating to me .... I never said it was "a call to violence", I said the Left is emboldened by it. They see the clever "dark humor" as you called it, then take it to the streets with that as their rallying call. It has happened time and time again, the magazine is selling magazines, the violent Leftists are being violent.

Personally I think the slight change of words you just did is a HUGE part of the problem. You changed my words to be far more aggressive in an apparent attempt to make it look like I am saying Charly Hebdo is calling for violence, not cool man, not cool....

For example, the media portrays Texans as racists. Yet in the two weeks of Hurricane Harvey, there's not been one racial incident in a city of 7+ million in the middle of the worst natural disaster to ever hit the U.S. If you believe the media, you would have expected 20 to 30 lynchings by now.

You mean the media might have played it different if someone other than Trump was elected. But it is very much the medias play that brought on this perception of the French.

And people wonder why this media industrial complex is scrutinized all over the world. Not only do they attack others but they also lie like hell on people.

 

When I saw that cover, I didn't thought they said that texan were nazis, for me they were just refering to neo nazis gathering in US.
