Evidence for the above assumption?

Oh "it's been suggested". I see, this is certainly meaningful and convincing. Lol Perhaps you can provide a shred of evidence that US based corporations pay no taxes on half a billion in annual profit? Take your time, substantiate your "suggestion".

While you're at it, please provide the name of a business which pays more taxes than it absolutely has to and doesn't hire accountants and lawyers to minimize its tax burden. TIA

You have stated as an assertion that Donald Trump's businesses pay huge amounts of taxes.

Prove it...then ask me for proof of what I say has been suggested.

His company's reported $560 million annual income. You're not going to join Frank in the absurd assertion that the IRS doesn't tax half a billion of corporate income, are you?

You have promptly and utterly failed to substantiate your baseless claim that the IRS doesn't tax half a billion corporate income. The only sensible conclusion is then that the IRS does tax US based businesses based on its corporate tax rates, laws, rules and practices.

Thanks for playing and do read the financial disclosure.

Trump hurt himself in the debate alright, by not having someone doublecheck cheating Hillarys podium it seems.

Thats not a reading light, as the wooden slats wouldnt allow this light to shine on her notes. Can't even trust her to have a debate without having to be fed answers? Between her strange podium and the apparatus you could see under her coat....things dont look good.

Teleprompter and a wire possibly? For someone who was going to crush Trump in the debate, sure looks like someone didnt have faith in the candidate to be able to without help.

I have made no such claim.

    Check you will see.

But you are saying that his companies have paid tens (hundreds) of millions...and you have not be able to substantiate it.

So...I made no claim or assertion...and you are asking me for substantiation...yet YOU MADE AN ASSERTION...and have not substantiated it.

    C'mon, man!

Nice try...but you are still lagging by a considerable margin. Allow me to encourage you, though. Keep at it, Borat.

    1. your assertion that US companies don't pay taxes on hundreds of millions of profits was debunked. We've agreed that the IRS collects every tax dollar these companies are due
    2. Trump company is a US company that made $560,000. We've agreed on the number

    3. Logic 101 - put #1 and #2 together and the conclusion is unavoidable, The IRS collected appropriate tax from Trump companies according to their $560 mln profit

    I made no such assertion.

We haven't agreed on anything except that you do not know what you are talking about...and that you make stuff up.

    We did?

I may have accidentally...but I don't remember any such agreement. Please point to it.

I don't think Logic 101 would get you there...but thanks for the laugh.

    Anyway...I see your strategery.

You make an assertion...and then when it is questioned, you pretend that the person who questioned it has made a counter assertion...and demand that the person substantiate it.

Jeez. You might have gotten away with that in grammar school...but now you have got to move on.

Good, assertion #1 is a non-issue, we agree that the IRS taxes US companies on their income. Trump corp's $560 million annual income is specified in his FEC financial disclosure (you've read it given your keen interest in his finances, right?)

Now let's put 2 and 2 together. Trump company earned half a billion, the IRS collects every penny due on companies earnings.

    Questions?

PS you're fun to toy with... Too easy though ;)

So far I have not agreed with you on anything.

What you keep doing is to assert that we have agreed to certain things. (Read that: Make crap up.)

I have not read it. But I am willing to accept your figure for now...just so that the discussion can continue.

    Okay:

    We have agreed to nothing...

    ...plus...

...Trumps corporations earn about a half billion...

    ...equals...

    ...??????????????????

I would say you are addicted to gratuitous assertions.

    Why are you?

You still do not have the knack. Keep at it...it will come. May take a while in your case, but IT WILL come.

That Trump companies income reported in his FEC financial disclosure is $560 million and that the IRS taxes every penny of US business income are undeniable and universally known facts not requiring your agreement.

    Another gratuitous assertion.

Don't you get tired of that?

And are you tired of trying to get me to mention General Electric yet?

Facts, dear, not assertions.. Facts about the IRS collecting what is due, facts about Trumps taxable income of half a billion in profit.

That Bill Clinton's and Obama's administrations of which Hillary was a key part, allowed GE and a few other fortune 500 companies to get away with tax fraud on their watch is probably not a good idea for you to mention. Their lobbyists and donors are bankrolling Hillary's campaign as we speak, expecting a handsome return on investment as always. That said, GE hid its profits offshore through GE Capital which is not applicable to Trump.

I don't really support Clinton because of her wide-open border policies. What I support is the fact that Combover is a dumbass, and shouldn't be let near the Oval Office or the Pentagon. Do you really think the dunce called Trump is qualified to be the president? It is amazing that you consider this lying demagogue to be your great last hope. God help us if he is.

If it is a fact...show a link to substantiation.

    Okay. I won't mention it.

Same question: Do you know that for a fact...or is that just another of your self-serving, wild, blind guesses?

    Oh Frank, that's easy.

No CEOs at Fortune 100 Companies Are Backing Donald Trump
    http://fortune.com/2016/09/24/fortune-100-companies-donald-trump/

They did not get where they are by being dummies, they know perfectly well who gets them the bacon, they know Obama and the Clintons let them get away with tax fraud (among other things), not Trump. Duh

LOL! Trump is certainly not the the "great last hope". He is also not a "dumbass", Most descriptions of Trump, before the distortion of this election cycle, describe him as a shrewd executive. But if Trump is a "dumbass" what are the 16 geniuses he beat to get the nomination? And Why isn't Hillary indeed ahead "50 points"? ;-)

Trump's faults are fairly well known - stupidity is not one of them.

I was actually extending an olive branch. I was trying to pay you a compliment. I was being a prick about it, sure... but I appreciate your willingness to concede an argument. it is a rare quality. I am wrong all the time, and when I recognize it, I admit it. I had sort of written you off as a troll. I was wrong in this regard. You have demonstrated the capacity for intellectual honesty, and earned my respect. I will treat you with it going forward. We get to disagree on issues. If we can find common ground in truth, then there is hope for each of us. I don't want a cookie, I'm offering one.

I never said he was anything other than he was. The Clintons have not contributed a single dollar to gdp... You know what the P stands for right?

You can twist yourself into a pretzel trying to defend Clintons record... Which you seem reluctant to actually engage, or you can try and tear down Trump. You seem way more comfortable with that. This appears to me to be relevatory. I think, and I look forward to a real reply here, that it wouldn't matter who the republican nominee was, you would be making whatever argument you could against them, for clinton. You would not push the button for Cruz, not Bush for sure, not Rubio, not Paul. You strike me as a partizan tool. Clinton is probably the most corrupt politician in your lifetime to escape justice, and you know it... But you would vote for her above ANYONE on the right because doing that unthinkable thing would invalidate your ego drive. You believe in collectivism as a solution to the country and worlds ills. You do not understand the similarities between Bush and Obama. Its ok, most dont. You are usefull to the establishment. You would never cast a ballot for "the other side". It is my belief that we are on the same side. If the democrats put up... I dunno... Wyden as a nominee, I would be fighting against trump too... But they didnt. The DNC conspired to knock out candidates for Clinton... And you sit here before me, not lauding your candidate, but trying to tear her rival down.

I hear you. It saddens me, but... I hear you.

Duh...perhaps like most thinking people they realize that Donald Trump would probably ruin the economy. "Getting them the bacon" could mean a realization that Donald Trump is like a canker sore on the body politic...and that the US would suffer with him at the helm of the ship of state.

You attribute to Donald Trump great success as a business man...and say that will make him a good leader for our country. But even more successful business men and women see him as a danger to the ecoomy.

That may be why they are not backing him...just as many Republican heavyweights are not backing him.

So...you are merely guessing. I see.
