I don't know why you would buy that building. You have to move all of those plants out of the way to use it.

I came real close last year to finally buying a Diavel.
    I was interested a few years ago { back in around 2010 }
I think their 2nd year out with the speedster Diavel.
The Price wasn't too much more.Maybe a couple grand higher.
From around $ 18,ooo to $ 20,ooo.Depending on which wheels.
But they weren't shipping Diavels or Monsters last spring.
My XSR 900 is in direct competition with the Ducati Monster 821.
Same specs as far as H.P. and Torque.
    Ducati use nice rubber { Pirelli Diablo Rosso }

For purposes of this thread, money is no object. At any rate, if you can afford a 1.2 million dollar yacht, then maintenance is probably not a concern.

But, yes, having a boat is not nearly as cheap as having a friend with a boat.

Again, I don't know if I'd live there, but, I'd certainly vacation/holiday there (I mean, it's Tahiti FFS)! - and make it another holiday home (like that modest house I want in Springfield, Oregon for it's location/proximity to Main Street in Springfield).

    But, are they for sale?
Also, I heard that someone actually stole that toilet.

If I could, I'd buy that toilet for my private island (if money wasn't an object); also I'd work on getting Wifi and Satellite on that island if it didn't have these things already, it says it's turn key and a potential money maker, but, I'd just buy it and holiday and entertain there, if money wasn't an object. - also a hot tub.

Honestly, I've not found anything as great as where I'm living on the market in my neighbourhood, so I'd just live here, but, I'd fix it up some more and have other places too (Like in Soho and/or Mayfair) and other places in my home borough (like if this place in Crystal Palace ever came up for sale on the hill, I'd buy it and live there), but, even this 10 bedroom place around the corner for £2, 500, 000.00 isn't as cool or as perfect as my home, so, I'd live here (and have a bunch of properties in cities and places around the world I'd holiday to/vacation in.
All sorts of places, for their locations and/or niceness.

I'd bring a little bit of Thornton Heath (my neighbourhood in this borough/Croydon) with me where ever I go, jk.

Keep it in Thornton Heath for sale in Croydon (same borough about 2 miles away).

Holiday home in Springfield, Oregon, USA
I'd probably stay here for 1 week or 2 weeks at a time when it's warm.

I'd keep this in Thornton Heath, not actually for sale but it looks nice I'd try and find one like this.

I'd keep this in Thornton Heath, for sale in Nottingham some 140 miles away.

This island I'm calling 'in Tahiti' because it's close enough that it's Tahitian and it's in an atoll; not too secluded either but I'd still custom it to have things shipped in that I like.
It's an island, it's for sale and out of all the islands I saw for sale, this has a beach, is warm (it's Tahiti) and it's developed with electricity and fresh water, I'd work on getting Wifi and Satelite TV here and use it as another holiday home.

So that's 3 bikes, a holiday home in Springfield, a holiday island in Tahiti (pretty much).
    Hmmm...

Yet, this doesn't cover all the houses/properties I want in the UK and abroad or all the cars I want and anything else I want, but, it's a nice start.
There's this place around the corner I'd rebuild to be a recording studio (it's not for sale though).
    ... random.

This house in Springfield, Oregon (1234 C St) near Main Street.

    and this car
    [IMG]
1970 CHRYSLER VALIANT REGAL VF SHOW CAR MUSCLE CAR FOR SALE
    For sale in Preston, England
    https://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C1226219
    £29, 995.00

    https://www.wcshipping.com/us-car-import
I'd repatriate this just to see it registered to me and this house in Oregon (all be it a modest holiday home), and just have it as eye candy to make the house stick out more/and repatriate an American classic.
Sure, I'd drive it out there, BUT, I'd also have another daily driver (probably a rental or a car registered to me in another house in another state, maybe California out of some mansion in Los Angeles somewhere if money was no object) where I'd spend more time than this place but as I maintain this property year round from London (or wherever I find myself, no reason no to still spend a lot of time here in London though), I'd also have this car I want for this house serviced from a far too (and make this car and this house go hand in hand).

I like it's paint job because it reminds me of
    [IMG]
    (It's green)
and that part of the country/reason I'd want to vacation here/get away for a week or 2 and go from a big city where I'm from to this sawmill town in Oregon is because it reminds me of Springfield from the Simpsons.
and this would be a fun place for me to go for at least a week, maybe even two weeks at a time.

It'll be like my place to get to live how an American lives; (all be it I'd have unlimited spending power in this scenario and would shop and live like a rock star 'knowing me', and have this cool car in my driveway just for fun and show).

We are limited by 2 things I think, our budget and our imagination.

What would you actually buy if money and budget was limitless?
And, are these things for sale right now?

Shame, I just found out that above car was right hand drive?!
If it's not a quick conversion to convert it back (hoping somebody converted this left hand drive car to right hand drive); I don't want it anymore.
It's such a shame too as otherwise this would have been perfect.
I would look to save this/rectify this if it didn't mean messing around too much with the car's originality, but if it is too much messing around, I don't want it.

Even with all the money in the world it's hard to buy the dream if you get into details of cool things you like/want and finding them for sale.

    https://carused.jp/blog/car-maintenance/how-to-convert-a-vehicle-from-right-to-left-hand-drive/
Turns out you can do that and, IF somebody already done this to this car to make it right hand drive, I'd have it put back at whatever cost and then I'd repatriate this car and have my Oregon eye candy/fun car too.

If not though, and it's built for UK roads and was never left hand drive, then I don't want it, but if this can be converted back to an original left hand drive, I'd buy it and do that and ship it and register it to me and this house out there.

Nothing wrong with Oregon, though, I wouldn't want to be around there for the winter, I've seen it on YouTube, that side of this place isn't for me; I'd happily be back in London for that Oregon winter (or in some mansion in Los Angeles or on that island I want in Tahiti) lol

TBH, I like things convenient, so this place though small/modest; is in a prime location (for anyone on holiday/vacation) - it's really the location that is selling it to me; not the modest size.
It's within walking distance of a lot of things like places to eat and buy groceries and is virtually on their Main Street.

    Not really.John Kerry had a beautiful 76 ft. Yacht/Sailboat
    Cost around $ 7 Million.He docked it in neighboring state { Rhode Island }
instead it's domicile of Massachusetts in order to avoid paying the
half million { $ 500,ooo } or so in taxes.Doing this saved him from
a tax liability of $ 437,500 in sales tax and also $ 70,ooo in
    annual excise taxes.
So Yes,Rich people really make a big deal about saving money.
Even when becoming a matter of Political scuttlebutt.
