The media of course is acting like this is cause for alarm but in reality this should calm people down. Apparently this oh so scary end of civilization virus has been in Washington state quite a while now so you have to assume the vast majority of people that contracted it thought they had a bad cold. Will you panic people freaking relax please. Unless you have preexisting lung issues this is no big deal.

The virus will have s much bigger economic impact than the number of deaths. That is reality. It has already slowed the world’s economic engine - supply chains and travel.

Goldman Sachs is forecasting ZERO economic growth fo this year. And the financial analysts aren’t governed by left wing media - they look at actual data. So to pretend that this whole affair is simply a hoax is simply ignoring reality.

Well, this one is a good public health practice workout for when a serious virus comes down the pike.

The lesson is that you have to suspend all international flights and close all borders immediately to humans, but let the trade goods in and out for an airborne virus -- and you have to do it stat before much is known about a new virus. If corona had been a serious, apocalyptic virus we would have been too late, even though Trump got a lot of flak initially for isolating China. Trump was right, but he needed broad spectrum executive orders.

Plus you have to legislate with stringent, hard laws to pull health care manufacturing back into the USA and out of China.

I cant tell if you're being intentionally misleading here or if you're just a victim of fake news. At a rally in Charleston, SC Pres Trump clearly referred to the Democrat criticism of his handling of COVID-19 as the hoax, not the virus itself being a hoax. I get the feeling from reading your posts that you should know better on this one but then again media still likes to break out the concretely debunked "fine people on both sides" myth and tons of people still believe that obvious lie so I don't know. Either way you now know the truth - he was calling the Dem criticism a hoax not the virus itself.
