    One does not simply 'find' all the money of the richest man in the world... If someone found 200B of Putins money, its because he has nearly that much more stashed somewhere else.

    More likely its just made up, kinda like how the vast majority of Bezos' fortune only exists on paper and only a fraction of it could ever actually be liquidated into something that exists (tho that fraction would still be immense!)

    I think he'll go to Saudi, and duplicate the Palace of Versailles. Either that or he'll go to NYC and build the first Mile High skyscraper. Maybe somebody will convince him to bankroll Fusion and he'll make the first profitable Fusion reactor. Wouldn't that be a bitch, all our power being supplied by a former Tsar wannabe

    It won't be a deliberated thing, more like " OK. Press that button"... BANG. Generals have studied the effects of nuclear war better than most, particularly Russian Generals who at one time operated under the philosophy that nuclear war was suvivable due to Russia's extraordinary size (most of them now think it's not; due to lingering radiation. On The Beach is still regarded as prophetic in some places, quite fortunately)

    America is real good as a refugee country, not the least of the benefits we offer is that we often don't tell the world you are here at all. We're not terribly cheap but money isn't really a factor in most of these cases.

    Putin has a gambling problem. He cannot bring himself to walk away from the conquest table, until either he winds up with all the Earth- House's money, or loses everything, and gets tossed out, on his ear.
