Can you imagine the democratic reaction if over a ten year period, the republicans went from believing walls worked to concluding that walls did not work?

Texas GOP rep blasts wall as expensive, ineffective
    https://thehill.com/homenews/admini...all-most-expensive-and-least-effective-way-to

"Rep. Will Hurd (R-Texas) is criticizing President Trump's push to build a wall on the border with Mexico.

“Building a wall is the most expensive and least effective way to secure the border,” Hurd said in a statement late Wednesday, according to The Washington Post.

“Each section of the border faces unique geographical, cultural, and technological challenges that would be best addressed with a flexible, sector-by-sector approach that empowers the agents on the ground with the resources they need.”

Notice how Trumpette's suddenly scatter in to the wind when presented with factual refutations of their misguided beliefs? Happens all the time.

What you may have heard was an edited tape of Obama intended to mislead you. Your first thought when presented by any material from right wing media should be to verify it. Because they are purposely trying to get you to believe lies all the time. Did Neil Cavuto face any consequences for perpetrating the lie? No. Because lies are promoted on purpose at Faux.

Those that own the property would welcome the security and protection of their property which the wall provides. They would be paid a stipend for the use of their land just as those landowners who allow wind turbines on their land collect.

So what? Rivers change course which affects the property owners as well. It doesn't happen very often and can be dealt with as a matter of adaptation. This is a non issue.

The issue after a little learning is more about access to a river. This is the third time I'm asking this question: Will the wall be on the river bank or further away from the river?

If it is the latter a followup question: Are proud flag and soldier saluting Americans ready to give up sovereign land (note that is not private land but American land) to another country for the sake of security?

It should be built as close to the river bank as possible taking into account the seasonal behavior of the river in each location.

    They won’t give up land.

Will armed guards shoot at people swimming across the river or just constantly be demolishing shanties leaning against the wall like barnacles or fungus built by poor foreigners.

Once they’re granted amnesty they can:). It’s about getting them all in the door and using “too many to deport” as a argument that we can’t get rid of them, which leads to the inevitable solution Democrats have wanted from the get go. Amnesty.

This isn’t a short game. It’s the long game. Democrats are banking on pure and utter exhaustion and apathy as a weapon. It’s what the UK leadership is doing with Brexit. Delay delay delay delay until the people become so fed up, they just toss their hands up and say !!!!FICK IT!!

I’d prefer we hang our leadership when they refuse to do the job they’re paid to do or promised to do:) The same ol excuses are getting tiresome. You want all that power and guaranteed retirement? You need some more skin on the game.

Where is it required? Everyone heard what obama said when he told illegal aliens to vote.

It's not required in the 'opinions and beliefs' forum but it's something that is occasionally asked for when someone makes a statement that appears to be B.S.
