There isn't a loss of United States territory. That part of territory that's on the other side of the wall it isn't quite at the river that still United States territory.

As far as property goes the government buys the property. They should make an offer of what the land is worth. and if you refuse to sell then there's the eminent domain issue.

and no I don't think we should get rid of that because then you'll have nail houses right in the middle of freeways.

They aren't seeking asylum. They are seeking a better economic opportunities and free medical care provided by the Democratic party. The asylum ploy is a scam.

Trump is the only President to actually deal with NOKO. Trump is the only President to actually deal with Iran (Obama's actions were abysmal). Trump is the only President to insist that NATO members pay for their own defense (still waiting for Germany). The water and air have never been cleaner. Pollution is at an all time low. The environment is doing fine.

There can be no immigration reform without first securing the border. That's fundamental. BTW GW Bush had immigration reform started but the D's sabotaged the effort - they could not let a Republican take credit plus they want the issue as a wedge.

Exactly. Where this idea of the border being right at the wall came from is bizarre.

They are paying for it everyday in the totality of the Trump administrations overall policy suite. The trade negotiations are producing the yearly cumulative increase in tax revenues to finance the wall.

My post makes perfect sense for those who have sense. No real money changes hands, but Mexico ends up spending more, and the US less; which is the same net effect as a direct transfer of money from Mexico to the US.

Indeed, a short-term expense for a long-term gain. I guess business economics isn't your forte.

You're wrong, they're seeking asylum. Imagine for a moment, if it's even possible, for you to think of a son of yours perhaps 15 years old or so, being brought to a place where his best friend was being held hostage by a gang. The friend's hands and feet are tied and his mouth is taped. Now the gang tells your son, "chop off his head, he disrespected us and if you don't do it, we'll chop it off and yours along with it." Or maybe you have a pretty daughter, around 15 and the gang kidnaps her and sells her to men for sex then cuts off her hands and feet and leaves her to die in an abandoned warehouse.

These aren't 'made up' stories, they're real stories from real people who fear for their lives or those of their loved ones. Americans are prisoners of their own minds and can't conceptualize an environment that's so hostile, so dangerous that fleeing is the only option.

Pew Research, our government and various universities study this stuff, as it's important to know.

Yes he is. And those funds are balanced by the additional tax revenues from the trade negotiations.

That’s not the people being interviewed say. If they make across the border they read from a script.

If a fence makes sense for our own property, why would it not make sense for our country's property as well?

It's not spin, it's just reality; something the left seems to have little knowledge of.

As well as the security of the US citizens living in close proximity to the border. Some of them have lost their lives.

The majority of these people don't speak English, many of them don't even speak Spanish, they speak a dialect particular to their part of the world which may be instead indigenous languages, which DHS agents don’t speak nearly as well as they do Spanish. They are supposed to bring with them an interpreter which is absolutely not possible for the majority of people. They have been given the words to speak phonetically from a script because that's the legitimate legal language they must use to apply for asylum.

You think the average person puts up a fence to keep people out? That’s cute
