No I said no such thing about my fate or any of that nonsense. I’m simply pointing out CRT and Intersectionality are incredibly racist and discriminatory and are WHOLLY UNACCEPTABLE as a framework for the teaching of children.

Fallacy, argumentum ad hominem. A factual rebuttal addressing the topic would better support your argument.

I’ve had to explain three times now that banning CRT means banning Jim Crow Laws. The fact I can make that claim and back it up means that they really don’t understand what CRT is. Or the implications of their argument. That is dangerous and needs to be called out.

Yeah all I have to do is ask how does CRT show that white people as a whole are oppressors and you’re going to have to talk about institutions. Then I point out that institutions determine the nature of the rules that everyone plays by. Then you say that nobody makes me do what I want to do. So I say something that proves you wrong. Then you go on about how evil CRT is. Then I point out you are dodging the point. Then you say something to the effect I don’t actually listen to people. And then I finish with the reason I can say what I said is because I did listen. For years and are getting really sick and tired of having to say the same things over and over again. I mean have you even debunked the point that banning CRT means banning educating kids on Jim Crow laws? And the answer will be no. Because you don’t seem to understand the basics of what CRT is.

Doesn't change the fact that the other poster is not the topic of this thread.

And I respond by asking you to name ONE government policy or program in place today that explicitly discriminates against black people.

Oddly you got a like for that post which accomplished nothing. Instead of criticizing his understanding, why not explain what it is.

I have not seen any evidence of what you are talking about. Are you even in the workforce?

If you want to rename 'diversity training' as 'CRT' then I can tell you that is has been around as far as I can remember, and its a total non-issue. It is training which stipulates that employees should accept & respect co-workers from different race, color, ethnicity, language, nationality, sexual orientation, religion, gender, socio-economic status, age, and physical and mental ability. Some consider such training a nuisance, because respecting others is obvious to most people, but I never worked with anyone who is offended by the training.

the guys who make fun of this training need it the most. respecting your coworkers is only common sense and common courtesy, things that some people deride as "political correctness" or even "wokeness" (as if those are bad things!)

Its common sense to most, but not all. Younger people come in with collage-boy mentality and say idiotic things, some of which can be offensive, so there is some use for the training. Besides, knowing what to NOT say can keep you from getting fired. People who run businesses go to great lengths to avoid toxic / divisive work environments. People leave such places and that's bad for business. So no, it has nothing to do with "political correctness" or "wokeness".

Except the dominate group ( read White Christians ) have no intention of applying those same laws equally.

"Our kids are not "colorblind." We must be talking to them right now about the demonstrations, about police brutality, about racism." https://twitter.com/dribram/status/1268229740504252416

"As a community, we have all heard the sentiment, “I don’t see race” or “I believe that all lives matter.” What some people may not know is that these comments are a form of colorblindness. Colorblindness is a piece of the complex network supporting systemic racism." https://www.ywcawcmi.org/our-servic...erment/prevention/socialnorms/colorblindness/

"THE COMMON IDEA of claiming “color blindness” is akin to the notion of being “not racist”—as with the “not racist,” the color-blind individual, by ostensibly failing to see race, fails to see racism and falls into racist passivity. The language of color blindness—like the language of “not racist”—is a mask to hide racism." https://glose.com/quote/ibram-x-kendi/the-common-idea-of-claiming-color-blindness-is-akin
