1 the accusation suggests that the two congressmen are prominent republicans, they however are not.
Part 1 debunked.

2. During the time frame Ben Shapiro is talking about, Obama's presidency, Donald Trump was not a prominent Republican, in fact most of that 8 years he was a democrat
June 15 2015 Trump announced he would run for President but it wasn't for a year later before anyone started taking him seriously.
In fact no one took him seriously until he was the only Republican candidate and not considered an influential Republican. As a matter of fact, he still isn't considered a influential republican. He's just the president, not a conservative and not much of a Republican really.

So during Obama's presidency no prominant republicans questioned his legitimacy.
