Typical, it's is not a once in a lifetime pandemic that is putting people out of work, it is people's own laziness. But, tax cuts for the rich, who already never have to work a single day in their lives again, are fine and dandy. GOP pretzel logic.

Admit it, you don't want the unemployed receiving the $600. You are just using this as political football.

You need to wash your mind reading crystal ball, because your skills suck.

You folks always accuse us of your crimes.

Pelosi is the old white, immensely rich, faltering, spoiled rotten mayor's daughter that she has always been. She imagines a world were she can deliberately inflict pain, and where she controls the national narrative via the Fake News Media, and she can turn the pain she inflicts into anger against Donald Trump. This is not the world that exists, everyone has fast access to the facts, everyone can quickly see past the spin of the Lying Fake News Media, and at the core, you are running another old failing racist white guy who, while as crooked as Hillary, was never as smart. And now it's not even clear that he knows his name address and phone number.

We can feel a certain amount of sympathy for you, but we have been warning you folks of the corner your have been painting yourselves into for four years. Where you folks find yourself is no ones doing but your own.

Whoever pulls Nancy's strings, will have a talk with her, at some point her petulance will ebb and she'll make a deal, screaming and ranting about whatever elements she doesn't get that she is insisting on. It will probably be back-dated to the 8/1/20, so, other than a delay, I see nothing of significance in her waspish antics.

I see Slow Joe had more verbal stumbles and a potential VP pick has a commie past.

    What city am I in?
California Democratic Representative Karen Bass has to explain remarks about how awesome Fidel Castro and the Church of Scientology were. (Presumably separately, as opposed to fused together as a Voltron of Suck.)

Bass went to Communist Cuba in 1973 with the far-left Venceremos Brigade.

Floridians LOVE President @realDonaldTrump! Joe Biden, on the other hand…as one voter put it, “You look at Biden and he’s hollow.”

Simulation Alert: The guy in charge of keeping Biden in the basement and away from the press is named Ducklo.

Biden Campaign Says He Is So Close To A VP Pick He Can Smell Her.
But, hey, have fun spinning Crazy Nancy refusing to extend the $600/week unemployment additions, for even a week.

Sure thing, we'll see you celebrate when the Dems push through the $600 extension for 6 months instead of a week. Not! Then, you'll be back to your old tune about the deficit, welfare queens etc....

I'm fine with a 6 month extension. Your mind-reading sucks. The fact remains that the $600/week lapsed because of Crazy Nancy, an extremely rich, Left-wing, privileged white woman, threw a tantrum, cutting off the funding to the desperately oppressed BIOPC desperately in need of this funding.

I guess if Republicans would've took this up in MAY when the Democrats passed the hereos act we would've be here. The Republican Senate purposefully waited until there was only 1 week before unemployment benefits expired to use them as leverage. Put the blame where it goes and its solely on the Republican Senate and Mitch "what about the corporations" McConnell

It's sad that Republicans are using peoples unemployment as leverage to screw those people even more with corporation liability protection.

I mean, even if you don't LIKE what's in the Heroes act, nobody can plausibly deny it wasn't the first thing on the table.

As much as I want Trump defeated, McConnell is almost as big a danger to this country as Trump is... Together, they're a complete Goatscrew.... Somebody who generally doesn't know what to do and another who says he won't move until the first guy knows what he wants to do.... What could possibly go wrong??

And I laugh when people say we can't give D's control of all 3 components....2017-2019 proved with a doubt that giving R's all 3 components was the biggest mistake possible.

All of this is true which is why it baffles my mind as to why the Republicans are using this line of attack......

Also I think culturally Trump is worse but legislatively McConnell is worse that is if he can actually get something done

Republicans didn't have control of all 3 branches of Government in 2019. The Democrats won the House, and immediately proceeded to mire the country in a destructive and baseless attempt to impeach the President. It lasted until early 2020. The vitriol was so bad that Democrats opposed anything Trump said, including shutting down travel from China and Europe when Covid-19 was spreading. Same thing happened in Europe when right-wing wanted to shutdown border and air travel. You guys literally take sides with the Chinese communist government that put people in concentration camps over Trump, and didn't even want to work with the Russians to push back ISIS. Right now, you won't even extend the $600 unemployment benefit to the families that need for an extra week cause you want to score a political win. You guys are exactly as bad as you think Trump has been.

No. Your Spin Job Aside, the fact remains, the $600/wk federal addition to Unemployment is currently lapsed because Pelosi, in yet another fit of White Wealthy Left-Wing Privilege, shouted NO, NO, NO, NO!

"Right now, you won't even extend the $600 unemployment benefit to the families that need for an extra week cause you want to score a political win. You guys are exactly as bad as you think Trump has been"

Republicans instead of doing their jobs in MAY called the HEROES ACT a "liberal wishlist". They could've done a thing called the amending process to amend out what they didn't like but choose not to. Now they wanna kick the can down the road even futher with a bandaid one week extension and somehow your putting it on Democrats.....

Look I'm no friend to Democrats either generally but this is clearly on Mitch McConnell. He purposefully didn't pick up talks on this until one week before unemployment benefits expired in hopes he could use the people on unemployment as leverage to get what he wants (business liability protections).

Do you disagree with that timeline because that's the only way you can have an argument that this is somehow Democrats fault?

As far as power when Republicans controlled everything didnt they flounder on a repeal and replace of the ACA?

    What spin job........

These are just the facts unless you are saying they're wrong

May- Democrat house passes 3t Corona relief bill

July 27th Republicans senate finally pick up a pin and tries to craft their own relief bill

    August 1st unemployment benefits expire

What politician worth their salt can honestly believe that they can hammer out a bill in 1 weeks time?

Unless you think McConnell is dumb and doesn't know how to ballpark how long a bill will take. I personally think McConnell is alot of things but dumb isn't one of them...... He timed this this way on purpose

Have Democrats even looked at the Democrat stimulus bill? They wanted a $6,000 if you have three dependents, and $600 per week unemployment checks on top of state unemployment.
Yeah. It's a liberal wishlist. It is the most expensive bill in U.S. history. There was no discussion to be had on that bill. What Republicans are currently proposing is a fair middle ground. Have you even looked at these bills?

Have you ever heard of the amending process? That means in MAY the Republican Senate could've cut out what they deemed to be a "liberal wishlist".... I mean that is their job after all and yet they didnt

Your party proposed the most expensive bill in U.S. history, and hasn't stepped back from any of it. The Republicans came back a week ago with a more reasonable bill, which I think is definitely some politickering. But Democrats delayed the first stimulus bill. Do you guys seriously don't think your S$$t stinks?
