I could hang out for several months. Like I said, my son lives there. I miss him.

Why do you care? It doesn't matter whether I would support it, what matters is the truth that the GOP has done far worse in their attempts to maintain their minority rule.

The right just loves to gripe about what they see as dirty tricks on the part of the left, but the left learned those many of those political shenanigans from the right in the first place. Hypocrisy writ large.

This is about the Dems wanting to illegally have people move in just to vote in the primary.

I can't believe you would even ask such a question. OF COURSE I care it will determine the power in the Senate and integrity of the our elections.

So would you support the flooding of out of state people into GA to try and vote, yes or no? And yes it would be a HIGHLY DIRTY TRICK which the Dems have no qualms in engaging.

    EVERYONE should care.

no, they want them to legally move there, nothing wrong with that, this is still a free country, people can move where ever they want

I do not know what the state laws are for how long one has to live there before they can vote, as long as people follow the law, have at it

now Trump asking his voters to vote twice, that is illegal

The Dems in Georgia have been consistent about not wanting people to come there to be involved in elections.

I agree with Rupublicans needing to start playing by the same rules. Their assault on our democracy is absolutely disguesting - and traitorous, for that matter.

To quote a favorite movie line, "What we have here is failure to communicate."

I didn't ask why you care about the issue, I asked why you care about my opinion.

They are going strong after the 17 year olds who will turn18 before January 5, and will be able to register to vote in the runoff.

    And it's time? :
Three candidates for Florida Senate district races were “shill candidates” whose presence was intended to siphon votes from those running for the Democratic Party, a report claims.
    https://www.independent.co.uk/news/...epublican-shill-candidate-miami-b1721956.html

In District 37, "Alex Rodriguez" and "Celso Alfonso" in District 39 were investigated:

Local 10 began to investigate Alexis Rodriguez’s candidacy in October when an executive producer could not locate a headshot of the candidate for election broadcast purposes.

He would not return calls and had falsified his address on filing forms in June, giving his residence as a home that he had not lived in for five years.

Both had until recently been registered as Republicans. Both paid a qualifying free to be candidates on 12 June. Both listed Gmail addresses in the same format — first initial, last name, district number, and 2020. And both list just one contribution to their campaign — a $2,000 self-loan.

    And the result?
    Candidate Total Votes % Votes
    Ileana Garcia (R) 104,597 48.5%
    Jose Rodriguez (D) * 104,569 48.5%
    Alex Rodriguez (NF) 6,376 3.0%

So any fraud investigation should start here where evidence does exist.

This is not about the Florida Senate election it is about the Georgia runoffs and Dems wanting non-residents to move there and establish temporary residency to vote and then leaving and going back to their home states.

Given residency requirements for registration, I'd suggest the cost of the establishment of an address would be an exceptionally high price for a single vote - let alone any chance of incurring election fraud charges.

The more cost effective move would probably be to donate to one of the candidates or Stacey Abrams or some other political group that knows how to influence local voters.

Vote by mail is FAR FAR more fair and secure that polling site voting has EVER been.

Polling site voting is vulnerable to a good number of techniques for excluding legiimate voters and otherwise pushing elections toward a specific candidate.

That NOT the case for vote by mail.

I don't see anything in the OP that backs your cliam

In fact, even the Fox article points out how that would be illegal.

There ARE those who have pushed for people to go to Georgia to help with the campaign.

But DEMOCRATS have pushed back AGAINST that.

If you want a congress that does nothing elect Republicans. They do raise a lot of money from special interest groups who are invested in seeing that nothing gets done.

Even quotes them and why the SecState had to issue his warning because it would be ILLEGAL DUH. But urged nonetheless. They were more that willing to engage in it until it was pointed out that even urging it could be illegal so they have shutup about it. Even Andrew Yang was all for it and encouraging it.
