Have you got a case of cranial diarrhea? Perhaps a dose of Brainodium would help. Maybe several doses.

Could this be standard reply in the Islamidiotocracy celebrating every form of tyranny over the mind of man when it comes to fixing elections of lynching enforcement dictating one stole it's vote, as if Fourth Reich immaculate drug conception is a Baker Act; when if one doesn't vote since there is no equal justice under law in one nation under God of thieving US Constitution - old glory - old testament arsonists, what rationale would there be in stealing a vote for those Islam Christiananality pedophilia business mentality patriot act of protect & serve Arab terrorists which threatened POTUS & to nuke Temple Mount before 9/11 super egos ?

This was actually the Republican party's second biggest loss in their entire history. The only election where they lost more seats was the 1974 election that fallowed Nixon's resignation. Though I do agree with the OP in that not being the president of the GOP's greatest election loss is a victory. However, this notion that the president is an asset to the GOP doesn't seem rational. George W Bush in 2006 was a greater asset than Trump in 2018, and that's saying something

Don't know about that but I do know that compared to Obama losing 64 seats and both houses it looks a lot like a win. I'm not sure there has ever been this many vacated republican seats up for grabs in a midterm so considring that fact Republicans did amazingly well and they held the Senate which is where the action will be the next two years.

Actually, the Democrats had more vacated seats in 2010 than the Republicans did this year . Also, the Dems did not lose the senate until the 2014 midterms, they did not lose both houses in a single election

    Good apples to apples comparison.

"In midterm elections, a president's party loses a handful of seats. For former President Barack Obama, midterm elections in 2010 and 2014 were catastrophic compared to Trump's moderate losses.

In 2010, Obama lost 63 House seats. Even if every House race undecided at time of publication gets called for the Democrats, Trump will have lost about half as many seats as Obama did during his first midterm.

In 2014, Obama lost just 13 House seats, but he lost them in a House already packed with Republicans. In the end, Democrats held just 188 seats to 247 for Republicans. Additionally, in 2014, Obama lost the Senate.

Trump managed to keep his hold of the Senate, where the Republican majority may even increase. Republicans in this midterm benefited from having only nine seats up for grabs in the senate, compared to 26 for Democrats and the Independents who caucus with them."

Year one of any new Presidency is dictated by the exiting President and his budget for the new year.. So if it were as you say " unproductive year 1" it was just a continuation of the previous seven years under Mr. Obatard.

I don't think anyone is arguing that the 2010 election wasn't a bigger loss than the 2018 loss, but for the Republicans this election was their second biggest loss in their party's history, they were projected to lose 27 seats and they lost 33(so far), and could potentially experience bigger losses if things do not change. And unlike previous elections, the changes that need to be made isn't a turnaround in the economy

However, that being said it is a victory for the president to not experience his party's biggest loss. The same cannot be said for Obama's first midterm.

Apparently the only thing that counts in the Federal Lynching churchstate of hate is that Islam Christiananality pedophilia mentality business of fixing elections the same way they fixed it so 9/11 took place.

PA remained blue. Those are the three states that won the election for Trump with less than 80,000 votes. Over 137 million votes were cast.

With a Republican Congress Trump has had his way far too much even when it goes against the GOP credo. For example, the Republican Party strongly favors free trade and abhors the liberal concept of protectionist tariffs. When Trump invoked his harsh steel and aluminum tariffs on our trading partners and China, prompting trade wars, some Republicans said "tsk, tsk," but the GOP did nothing.

Recently, Trump usurped Senate powers by appointing Whitaker without Senate confirmation. The Republican leadership in the Senate changed their minds about firing Sessions and went along with the idea. The House intelligence committee was supposed to investigate Russian interference in our election. The committee under the leadership of a Trump lackey, Devin Nunes, investigated the investigators instead.

It is sickening to watch the U.S. Congress roll over and play dead. The 2018 elections indicate that Republicans are making a serious mistake when they act as surrogates for Trump.

The House is much closer to the people than the Senate, and Americans had their say. The 2018 election was a referendum on Trump. Trump and those who represented him lost. The Democratic Party has gained 32 seats so far and appears on track to gain between 35 and 40 once all the counting is complete. The GOP lost seven state houses and eight state legislatures.

Backing Trump was a losing proposition. With the Democrats winning the House, there will be some oversight ... finally, and who knows what will happen when Mueller's report comes out.
