    I don't know about the bill you people are discussing. But I do know liberty and justice for all. It is highly illegal to remove our liberty simply over a few outlaws.

    There is no guarantee of any kind that background checks prevent murder.

    Even in a court of law, the old saw claims you are innocent. (I actually dispute this claim)

    So, If I am indeed innocent, I need no background check.

    I would think High Crime states would make it EASIER to get CCWs

    given everyone has to pass a background check can you even come close to establishing those additional requirements increase public safety? I doubt you can.

    You're just mad that your stupid state makes it ridiculously tough for honest people to get CCWs

    Democrats have 48 Senators. That's a very powerful filibuster.

    most counties in New York have reletively easy CCW requirements.

    and pretty much anyone in NYC can own a handgun.

    Filibuster is a poweful tool, that the Democrats still have.

    48 votes. thats a real strong filibuster.

    Senate is not going to go Nuclear simply over CCW reciprocity.

    considering how many times the GOP filibustered one of Obama's bills, GOP won't go Nuclear over Gorsuch.

    or national CCW reciprocity.

    Reid went nuclear only after 5 years of never-ending, persistent, and obsessive Republican obstructionism.
