Even Alaska (which allows it's citizens to carry concealed at will in-state without a permit) requires permit holders to have gun safety training. It issues permits to those residents that plan to travel out of state.

Actually, it has dropped crime rates tremendously in the last 20 years.... It's part of why we have such a big prison population.

I'm not trying to define minimum standards. I was asking Ronstar to define them. I would think that every state would have a set of minimum standards,when issuing a ccp. I don't know what every state requires ,only what my state requires.

if the Federal govt. has no business passing laws enforcing gun control, they have no business passing laws requiring states to respect other states' gun laws.

Would this not then apply to many other areas of state policy? Like cannabis possession reciprocity if you have a license in one state for instance.
