I agree. Why should the rest of us, who have been gun owners all our adult lives with no incidents, be punished for all these other idiots?

 

This young lady didn’t have to die. She’s gone because of a very easily correctable mistake. Baldwin is supposed to be a professional. He constantly runs his mouth about gun control for us law abiding citizens. Don’t think for a second the democrats won’t find a way to spin this into a political mess against us legal law abiding gun owners to further reduce our rights.
Baldwin made this political when he pointed a gun, loaded or not, at that young lady.

yes.. incompetence, cavalier sloppiness , carelessness and arrogance. Resulting in one death and one injured. ......and a revelation of how badly things were run on this set.


everyone has their views on the gun issue....... as does Baldwin. Not the issue. The issue is what appears to be negligence and homicide.

 

I don’t care how bad it was on that set, there was no reason for it to happen in the first place. If someone hands me a firearm I confirm it’s not loaded. Even after I confirm that I don’t aim it at anyone. Period.
And what is any ammunition doing on a movie set these days? CGI would work perfect for this situation.

 

I have yet to hear why there was live ammunition on the set at all.........as from my understanding , it is totally prohibited. ( for obvious reasons )

 

Negligent Baldwin has been making fun of his father for awhile so I will give Don Jr a pass but not those who buy the shirt.

My take....It is most certainly despicable and I would never do it myself. Nor will I be buying this shirt, or anything else from Don Jr. Granted me saying I won't be buying from him isn't all that big a deal since I have never bought anything "Trump". And never will. So take that part for what its worth.

That said, this isn't really the worst thing I've seen in politics. And I do find it funny how those that hate Trump (and all things related) are so outraged by this but thought it was funny has hell when Kathy Griffin posted a photo of herself holding a replica of Trump's bloody severed head. And disregarded Madonna telling everyone at a rally that she has thought about blowing up the White House because of Trump getting elected. So really, in the grand scheme of things...this isn't the worst thing I've seen or heard. Still despicable. But not the worst.

 

You’re serious? Parkland, sandyhook, BLM (so long as it was a white person that shot them). He’ll name one major shooting besides this one they didn’t do it. The left politicized every shooting that could possibly benefit them. Now this one makes you all upset? It’s amazing

 

Maybe tasteless but entirely appropriate for Baldwin. If the roles were reversed it would be anti-gun Baldwin making fun of the shooter. That’s why he is getting so much blowback. If If it were a nicer person you would not see this except maybe from Baldwin.

 

Of course they have feelings and concerning Baldwin they probably aren't markedly different right from those expressed by the shirt.

I think this incident tidily sums up differences between gun enthusiasts and gun banners (like Baldwin, I presume): Gun enthusiasts respect the possibility of gun damage and are careful with guns while gun banners want nothing to do with guns which includes not having the knowledge or desire of being cautious around guns.

 

We all knew what he meant.
