Unless you are a well-known comedian making a joke, then no, it is not. I can't believe how much one short wise-acre comic scares the crap out of conservatives! You can tell the level of fear as it is directly proportional to the level of vicious invective and name-calling that is used.
Another comedian making a joke. I swear, you cons remain the most humorless people on the face of the planet. And the most thin-skinned... - - - Updated - - - ...or, people with active senses of humor and are able to laugh at themselves with good grace...
Oh my gawd .... Romney did show his tax returns Why did Obama always refuse to show his college records? But I'm sure there was a reason for that......
Oh BARF! Aren't you getting just a little carried away and melodramatic here? - - - Updated - - - Why did Obama hide his college records, I wonder....?
Day two. Just checked the news. No word on Trump filing his lawsuit. Could this be another case of Trump being a bloviating, overly self important ass? Maybe tomorrow will be the day Trump follows through with his hollow, meaningless threat.
Day 4! (*)(*)(*)(*)! How did I miss day 3? How? Certainly one would think that the news of Trump's lawsuit woudl be all over the news, right? Wait. Thee still is no lawsuit? Despite the promises of our resident Trump fans saying Trump woudl fight this to the end, he still has not filed a suit? Well. There is always tomorrow.
have you ever filed a 5 million dollar lawsuit? probably not, so you do not understand that it takes a lot of time and legal work to do something like this. I don't know or care if he will file it or not, but to think it would be done in 3 days is kind of ignorant.
Thank you. I realize that in the defense of Trump, calling folks ignorant may be the pinnacle of the pro Trump argument, so I do appreciate you breaking out the big intellectual guns. Now a quick glance through this thread reveals a plethora of posts lauding both Trump's legal team and his tenacity. Apparently both are not quite what they were cracked up to be. Wouldn't you agree? So in the interested of pointing out the flaws of being a Trumps supporter, a fan of the overly tanned, apparent lesser hominid spawn, reality TV show star, I think I will keep my count as it is.
do whatever makes you feel good. I could not care less what you think or do. I was just pointing out that it takes a good bit of time to put prepare and file a 5 million dollar lawsuit. That happens to be a fact. But continue with your silly day counting if you feel that it somehow helps the cause of chariman maobama.
Excellent! I shall then continue to count the days. I would think a man of Trump's means, with that reality show money rolling in, he would have lawyers capable of typing faster, or at least filing something, but maybe he has one of those discount law firms working for him.
actually he cant, again I have to teach an american about america, its not up to trump if it goes to the supreme court, its up to the supreme court, they decide what cases they take on nobody else
it could take a couple of weeks or a couple of months, depends on the nature of the case and the amount of supporting documentation and the venue that the plaintiff chooses to file in.
Actually, I have not commented on the legal system. I have commented on Trump's bloviating, his nonsensical faux outrage, his ego that can barely be contained by the expanding universe, his incessant need to be on TV, and his lack of sticktoitiveness. But not the legal system.
not so, you claimed that since no suit had been filed in 3 days that Trump was not going to do anything, you displayed ignorance of how suits are filed and the tiem required to prepare such a suit. you did this to demonize Trump, and thats fine, but why be disengenuous about it? just admit that you are a dem/lib tool.
Indeed, it would appear the powerful legal team of the half 'tan/reality show star has not filed a suit. I am keeping track of how long it shall take them, but we both know it will never happen. Calling me ignorant will not make it happen any sooner.
FYI A breach of contract suit, as discussed in this thread, could be prepared and filed in an afternoon.
a suit prepared and filed in a few hours would probably lose in court, it takes time to prepare and file a winning suit.
Why is that?? Do you actually believe that it's time consuming to describe a contract and how it was breached?? The success of any legal action is determined by it's merit and presentation in court of law and not on the content or complexity of the filing documents.
