May 8, 2019 — We love Robert F. Kennedy Jr., but he is part of a misinformation campaign that's having heartbreaking—and deadly—consequences.

I agree. In my opinion, Trump has no path to victory in the general election in 2024. If the Republicans want to lose big, nominate Trump. If they want to win, nominate DeSantis, Pence, or Haley. Any of these candidates have a chance of beating the Democratic nominee. Trump does not.

Strongly disagree. I think Biden is a serial liar, sold his office to the Chinese for money, a sex criminal, a slimy flip-flopper, a white racist at heart, and just an overall disgusting human being. He has perfected the "Uncle Joe" act over the years, giving him a facade of "decentness." But it doesn't fool me, and I think he is utterly disgusting.

DeSantis is too much if a pretty boy for me, much like Romney. In a world of killers and international chaos we get a former Navy lawyer that looks and sounds like Mr. Rogers on PBS. Spare me. I doubt he has ever had a bruise or a stitch his perfect little life. We are full up with lawyers. We need warriors who want America to thrive, not be pushed around by dictators. We are (or were) an export economy. It’s time to get back to the ABC’s of macroeconomics.

Iraq in 2007 was a rough place.
In 2007, DeSantis reported to the Naval Special Warfare Command Group in Coronado, California, where he was assigned as a legal adviser to SEAL Team One; he deployed to Iraq[43] in the fall of 2007[44] as part of the 2007 troop surge. He served as legal adviser to Dane Thorleifson, the SEAL Commander of the Special Operations Task Force-West in Fallujah.[35][36][37]

Brilliant post. Really, really well said and right to the point!
Trump has become the total distraction for Biden's dismal failure as a president, and yes, the dutiful left leaning media obeys the DNC's commands like a bunch of well fed, trained seals.

Not virtually anyone, so I disagree with you on this. The person they should nominate should sell Trump like policy to his voters, America first, but not to the point that they are a Trump-clone.

It is too early to tell. IF they run Gavin Newsom, Trump will beat him. So would DeSantis for that matter, and easily. I would love to see DeSantis demolish slick in a primary debate. Newsom is not the brightest bulb.

Biden is not going to run for the presidency. I'm not writing Trump off yet, but IF someone wants to take it from him, they had better respect his policy. I'm hoping DeSantis can do this, and still remain unique to who he is. I've read that he is a RINO, Bush and Paul Ryan light Is there really any truth to this or is it propaganda?

How about just sitting it out and let the chips falls? That's what I did in 2016.

Why? Please list your reasons why Biden should beat Trump. You already said if push came to shove you would vote for Biden over Trump, therefore, I asking you why should Biden beat Trump. I already know that you think he will not beat Biden. I'm not interested in would Biden beat him. I want to know why you think Biden should beat Trump. Convince me.

Registered as one and will vote for a sane Republican candidate, as I have in the past. Previously registered Libertarian.

That's too funny considering the massive incompetence and corruption of Trump.

    Exactly.

Btw, I think the figure I read was that 25% of Trump's donors are new donors. Who are these people?

Very little to criticize Trump for????

Trump is the only (and will remain the only for some time) TWICE impeached President. The 200+ years of this country has only seen 4 impeachments against a President and 1/2 of them belong to Trump. And he was able to accomplish that in ONE term.

I voted third party in 2016. If Trump runs in 2024 then I will certainly vote against him. If Trump doesn't run in 2024 then I hope to find someone to vote for.

Trump can't beat anyone. He has a hard ceiling at about 45%.

You think Pence or Haley has a shot at winning?

Admittedly, I don't believe any Republican can win in 2024, including Trump and DeSantis, but I really have to think Pence and Haley winning the nomination, let alone the Presidency, is pretty far fetched.

So, you'll vote for what Republicans then?

So, if it's Trump against Gavin Newsom, you'd vote for the latter? I know you already said you'd vote for Biden over Trump. Just wondering.

You mean he can't beat a Democrat, but you'd vote for a Democrat if he ran against one. Um, why? You already have decided Trump can't beat anyone.

So, back to my question. why should Biden beat Trump?

I'm registered as a Republican because it's the only way I can vote in the CA. Primary for a Republican candidate, but at heart I am an Independent.
