Because for starters...**** Russia. They are an authoritarian, backwards **** hole of a country with who think they own everything. Ukraine didn't even want to be part of the Soviet Union. They sure as hell do not want to be part of Russia.

And secondly, They swore an oath that they wouldnt do exactly what they are currently doing. But then we should have all known that Russian contracts are worth **** all. So every time midget hitler grand stands and sits down to sign something important, let's all remind ourself that the signature and promise/contract doesn't mean anything.

Because if we let him take even another inch of Ukraine after letting midget hitler have Crimea, it won't stop there. He's going to want to continue expansion. Which brings me back to the first point.

And lastly it sets a prescendence that places like North Korea, Iran and China could do the same. Line must be drawn here. If that means the world divides into Western nations trading and having relations mostly with all the other like minded Western nations and the East does the same with the East, so be it.

I think you can safely make the claim that our method of governance is far superior to theirs. I think you can safely make the claim that we have been trying to spread that method of governance (democracy) throughout the world.

I don't need to deal with the Iraq war, Vietnam...Afghanistahn or any other dipshit "whataboutisms" to make the claim that I would rather the world be more like America, then Russia or ****ing China. I don't want Russian influence to grow. I don't want Chinas influence to grow. I don't want the idea that it's now acceptable to conquer land through method of war to be something allowed or accepted. Especially from that of the two shithold countries ruled with the style of control and governance I dispise and of which conservatives in the United States do not want to see happen over here.

It traded voted and traded up for it's independance and soverigty. Ukraine deserves to be allowed to trade and be influenced with the west. And it needs to be successful as it's population enjoys all the freedoms granted by democracy to further hammer home it's superior style of governance to the Russian population who will have yet another neighbor enjoy the prosperity while Russia wallows in the muck of authorian style governance which lacks the ability for the people to vote out failures (like a Biden) and pivot to a new direction.

So for that to happen a message must be sent to Russia and China and any other tyranical style governance that would look to conquer land through act of war in the future. That **** is not gonna happen. It happened in the past but we as a people are beyond that. We need and demand stability on the world stage. Otherwise we may as well end the charade and just go to full out nuclear war. Because that's where the alternative leads too.

So knock off the "whatabout" isms.
