Fire is better, faster, and more efficient that water. Drowning the P heads just takes too long.

    They shouldn't.

Hiroshima and Nagasaki didn't kill that many Japanese. Both cities were thoroughly rebuilt decades ago.

They were the first to have had nuclear weapons used against them. In the case of the Japanese they were the side that was guilty of starting the war. They invaded China , Korea, Mongolia, Dutch East Indies, French Indo China, the US Territory of the Philippines, GB’s Singapore, etc. The Japanese invaders behaved like savages. Japanese brought it upon themselves.

    Ukraine Conflict Updates
. . . . Likely Ukrainian actors downed a bridge in Melitopol, Zaporizhia Oblast amid increased reports of Ukrainian strikes against Russian military assets near Melitopol within the past few days. Images from December 13 show significant damage and fallen spans of the M14/E58 bridge across the Molochna River in Melitopol (roughly 100km behind the front lines), and Russian occupation officials claimed that Ukrainian "saboteurs" detonated 15-20kg of explosives to down the bridge overnight.[45] . . . .

Ukrainian partisans conducted an assassination attempt against a Russian occupation official on December 12. The Ukrainian Resistance Center reported that Ukrainian partisans conducted an improvised explosive device (IED) attack against Kherson Oblast occupation Deputy Head Vitaly Bulyuk in his car in Skadovsk, Kherson Oblast, killing the car’s driver and injuring Bulyuk.[74] Kherson Oblast occupation head Vladimir Saldo condemned the assassination attempt, claiming that "Ukrainian terrorists" committed the attack.[75] Saldo stated that Bulyuk’s resulting injuries are not life-threatening.[76] . . . .

    Ukraine Conflict Updates
. . . . Ukrainian partisans continue to undermine Russian occupation by aiding Ukrainian forces in identifying valuable Russian targets. The Ukrainian Resistance Center reported on December 14 that Ukrainian partisans in Donetsk Oblast provided information to Ukrainian forces that resulted in a Ukrainian precision strike on Russian manpower and equipment in Horlivka, Donetsk Oblast, resulting in the death of 100 Russian servicemembers.[81] The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported that at least 20 Ukrainian partisans in Kherson City provided continual intelligence to Ukrainian forces during the Russian occupation of Kherson City.[82] WSJ stated that the intelligence provided by Ukrainian partisans played a key role in guiding Ukrainian precision strikes, which ultimately forced Russian troops to abandon the city in November.[83] ISW previously assessed on November 1 that Russian occupation forces have failed to neutralize Ukraine’s organized partisan movement and are unlikely to possess the capability to do so in the future.[84] . . . .

    Ukraine Conflict Updates
Ukrainian partisans conducted a sabotage attack on a power transformer substation in Berdyansk, Zaporizhia Oblast on December 13.[71] The Ukrainian Resistance Center reported that Ukrainian saboteurs blew up the power transformer substation and its supporting power lines which supported the Kosa microdistrict where Russian forces are quartering mobilized forces.[72] The Ukrainian Resistance Center noted that the complexity of this attack indicates that personnel with military experience carried it out.[73] Berdyansk Occupation Head Alexander Saulenko stated that the attack left 10,000 people without power.[74] ISW has assessed that Russian occupation forces have not been able to neutralize Ukraine’s organized partisan movement and are unlikely to be able to do so in the future.[75]
