Whom your relatives are or aren't doesn't guarantee one being circumspect about any given situation, and you know that to be true, eh?

They are very much opposed to Israel's behavior.

I don't see why you are so keen to insert yourself into the Arab world since you evidently hold Israel blameless.

Well I didn't read any news reports and yet his name was very easy to find perhaps the news reports you read were not intended for people particularly interested in such details?

I don't think that's the way it works for pilgrims if anything the pains of the journey add to the spiritual reward. Just consider the slaughter of Shia pilgrims in Pakistan and Iraq.

This thread is about Egypt and your sense that the Jews are being treated unfairly by being denied pilgrimage.

Maybe you all should leave each other alone???

It takes two to tango. Iran has been saber-rattling at Israel for the last 33 years. Iran needs an enemy to blame their problems on outside of Iran to keep their own people hostage to the crazy doctrine of the current nut jobs who are at the the top in Iran.

Everyone is an enemy of Iran. Making Iranian people fearful of the world is the strategy to keep the people of Iran focused outward and make sure that it doesn't occur to the citizens that their own government is at fault. It sure worked for the Nazi's and it will work just as well for Iran.

It is sad to hear that you are utterly horrified when you realize that some people are Jews or don't hate them. Many Zionists are not known for being Jew-friendly.

That's right and you claimed no one seemed to know the name of the rabbi whose tomb is the pilgrimage site based on reading six news reports. I on the other hand read no news report and yet found his name straight away which seems to have irritated you.

Maybe you should leave others out of this and agree with me that antisemitism doesn't lead to anything good.
