So Israelis don't have the right to be tourists ? Remind me in what western country you went to school ? What country neglect to educate their children of basic human rights ?
That's why I posted a map for you and the information here. http://www.politicalforum.com/religion/228003-pharaonic-inscription-found-saudi-arabia.html
All which does NOTHING to support your claims that the Canaanites spoke arabic. Or was there some other point you were trying to make now.
I have been to Palestine 3 times for two weeks each visit before the Six Day War. Palestinians don't enjoy basic human rights in the Occupied Territories. My human rights have never been violated anywhere in the US, Europe or the Middle East.
What do the goings on of Palestinians have to do with the rights of people of the Jewish persuasion to visit most Arab countries, let alone the human rights of Jews in the self-same countries???
Most Arab Jews left in 1948, 1956, 1967 and 1974... for reasons that should be obvious to you. Israel has a bad habit of assassinations on foreign soil using forged passports. You should deal with Israel annexing more land, denying water and building settlements if you want to "visit" Arab lands.
What about others considered to condone the abuse of the Palestinians or what if they simply neither condone nor condemn, does that count as condone by default?
While I agree that it is sad and that it would be far better if Arab Jews had stayed put in 1948, 1956, 1967 and 1974... I think everyone suffers on account of Zioism. Even now Israel wants a war on Iran.
It seems to me a lot more logical to blame all the suffering on antisemitism which was what started Zionism, the Arab Jews fleeing and now banning Jewish pilgrims.
We are not talking 70 years ago, but now. obviously Jews are abused now in Arab countries. For example, this thread which talk about not allowing Jews to perform pilgrimage to Egypt for a religious rite.
The jews were also abused in pogroms throughout North Africa and the Middle East including Palestine - Jerusalem 1847. However what is your point? Do you find it in turn more logical to blame Europe than antisemitism?
No one seems to know the name of this important Rabbi buried in Egypt.. In the past 70 years the Palestinians have lost land, fams, oilive groves, homes and mosques... friends and family members. If you think the Jews being unwelcome for some vague pilgrimage in Egypt is abuse, then we have different definitions for abuse.
Why do you say that? Yaakov Abuhatzeira, also known as the Avir Yaakov and Abu Hasira (18051880), was a leading Moroccan-Jewish rabbi of the 19th century. In 1879, Abuhatzeira left his native Morocco and embarked on a pilgrimage to The Holy Land via Algeria, Tunisia and Libya. While passing through the Egyptian Nile Delta city of Damanhur, he grew ill and died. He was buried in Damanhur, where his tomb has become a site of pilgrimage. source I would say that's all the more reason to think that the Egyptians would have learnt that no good ever comes of antisemitism.
You forget the Lavon Affair, the Suez crisis and the 1967 ambush.. I am always just flabbergasted that the Zionists have behaved with such cruel treachery and think, "Its nothing.. why are these people being unreasonable?"
You said no one seems to know the name of this important Rabbi buried in Egypt because of the Lavon Affair, the Suez crisis and the 1967 ambush! Sorry you've lost me completely, please explain.
I read six news reports and not one identified this rabbi that got sick and died passing thru Egypt. The better part of valor would be to leave the Arabs and Egyptians and Iranians alone.
Iran isn't going to attack Israel.. That is political hype.. a tactic .. The Iranians have every reason to be afraid.. Israel has attacked Iraq, Syria, the USS Liberty, the SS Patria and Egypt. In fact, I think there may be some sort of trade off going on.
Ok so now you are pretending to be a jew also???!!!??? Lets recap: You're and episcopalian, methodist, catholic protestant christian and now also a jew!!!
I have Jewish family.. nieces and nephews.. and they are very dear family to me. One of my sons is a Catholic and I have Catholic grandchildren. My husband was Methodist and I was baptised and confirmed an Episcopalian. Too much for you????
