True but its estimated within 20 years it will not be economically feasible to drill for oil.

You've failed to put forth any argument that oil going to eventually run out has anything to do here with the free market not working.

    Just pointing that out.

Secret Otto Engine Car For German Green Party Minister…”Range Anxiety”…”In The Interest Of The Country”
    By P Gosselin on 11. July 2021

Another example of Green hypocritical “do as I say, not as I do”.

While Germany’s Green politicians demand regular tax-paying citizens make sacrifices and accept inconveniences on behalf of the climate, they think they get to follow other rules.

Michael Sauerbier of the Berliner Zeitung (BZ) reports on how last March “Brandenburg’s Minister of Health Ursula Nonnemacher (63) touted “the government’s first all-electric official car”… “a new e-Audi” but in reality she “secretly used her state secretary’s gasoline-powered car – out of range anxiety!”

For Ms. Nonnemann, getting stranded by losing battery charge is all part of the sacrifices the regular peasants will surely have to make in order to put the global climate and society back in order. But because her work is so important, that duty doesn’t apply to her. . . .

Thank you for CONFIRMING that you lack any of the relevant subject matter knowledge necessary in order to have a meaningful discussion on this topic.

The AVERAGE person drives 37 miles per day therefore there is no requirement to recharge the ENTIRE EV battery every day.

Why would I buy any car that ever needs recharging?

And because China is undercutting the cost of production of these minerals it is not worth the rich countries looking at alternative ways of refining them

I'm assuming you mean "recharged" as opposed to "refilled"??

The meaning of the word Refilled was sufficient.

It takes a LOT longer to refill a big Electric car battery than a gas tank. Hours versus 5 min.....

Gee why didn't they think this one through?

Can you fill up your gas tank while you are sleeping?

45 minutes is about the time it takes to stop for a bathroom break and have something to eat and your EV is "refilled" at 80% capacity.

Did you FORGET that normal people need to use the bathroom and have meal breaks?

    Sad!

Because then you would NOT have to STOP at a gas station every time your tank is empty.

People with EV's can leave home with the equivalent of a FULL TANK every day.

45 versus 5 five minutes and at a very rare charging station that has a high charge rate which will lower the batteries life over time.

Most people can easily drive 3-4 hours before they get hungry, by then they will have arrived at the intended destination by which EV will have already run out of power, while Gas driven cars needs just 5 minutes to refill, so 10 minutes refill versus 1 1/2 hours of charging time and still not be full.

    Yeah suuure!

Extracting oil from the ground is a clean effort, no?
