Okay what Native American tribal group claims her for membership and I mean with a card and rights of a Native American of the given group, the Seminoles here is Florida and I suspect is the norm demands proven family lineage to no less than one quarter Seminole blood. I suspect other tribes are similar. So no she is not in any way a Native American she has some distant ancestry. I have 7% African blood I'm more African American than she is Native America so can I write in I'm Black for the benefits?

By that account, I have a Native American ancestor too since my brother's DNA-test showed a far larger number than 0,1024%. Are you really going to defend that a bloodline with no connection to America has a Native American ancestor?

 

Okay she has some Native Ancestry to some Native Person in the Americas way back okay now the big question which Tribal Group is she a recognized member of? To be a Seminole Indian and be a member of that nation you need proven by records one quarter or stronger ancestry this is not a blood test alone but also records of birth and witnesses if needed so isn't simple as here is my test let me in the Tribe. She did if I recall put on her college application Native American ancestry what the hell unless she holds Native Citizenship she had no right to do so and it was fraud.

So she MIGHT have had an Indian ancestor born as "recently" as 1868? The scientific fact is that the DNA "strongly indicates" - not "conclusively establishes " this watery connection. Wow. Now THAT's what I call an Indian!!

Some say 20 years, some say as much as 40 years is a 'generation'. Search the internet long enough and you can find whatever definition you want. No matter how you spin it though, using the most charitable, Warren-friendly calculus, she's no more than 1/64th Native American. And, even libs acknowledge that in order to be a "minority" one must be at least 1/32nd of whatever the "minority" percentage present in one's DNA actually is.

Again, by the most Warren-friendly calculation, hers is HALF the 'requirement' to be a "minority".

Aside: haven't we FINALLY approached a point where we Americans rid ourselves of all this "Affirmative Action" (Reverse-discrimination) bullshit and the perverse obsession we've had since the 1970's with race -- and instead become what Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. suggested -- a colorblind society where we are judged purely on the content of our CHARACTER. And, I would suggest that anyone who has used an wildly-exaggerated claim to being a "minority" in order to get an advantage over others has no worthwhile CHARACTER at all....

Nevertheless, I'll say this (briefly): Kennedy faced a lot of opposition from both Republicans (who hated him), and also from a large faction within his own Democrat Party (who also hated him). He was trying his very best to lead us forward, into a new, prosperous post-WWII phase which we needed badly after the previous Eisenhower administration had sagged into a state of lassitude. He had less than three years in office.

I know you'll bristle at the comparison, but it really DOES remind me a bit of the difficulties that President Trump faces today -- with rabidly hateful opposition from radical Democrats, and foot-dragging, uncooperative inaction from RINO's within the Republican Party. If your percentage of x is in the range of 1%, it is really hard to claim any sort of lineage to the given group. I cannot believe that a woman of Warren's background and intelligence could see a result of 0,1024% as a triumph and as proof of her Amerindianess.

Warren's family probably just have had a family myth that started as a joke at a Christmas dinner one year, "Oh, John you are so dark,! We must have some Indian in us. Ha-ha!" and then, over the years, this story was retold and changed and eventually became "there is some Cherokee in our family." There are plenty of these stories in many families and most people are smart enough to know it is just a silly tall tale.

Elizabeth has a fine case to prove she is white. She comes close to pureblood.

 

This country forgot this part of history but after reading my own family history I know why some claimed to be native tribe. The Feds whipped out millions of dollars to pay reparations to the tribes. If you could claim you had native, you could collect cash once they accepted your claim. In the case of my family, they were turned down and collected no cash. Still the myth lingered for a few more generations.

 

So her family stories were True, and Trump owes her charities a million dollars. What are the odds he ever pays a cent?
