You're right. She flunked her DNA test, Trump doesn't owe her squat.

Oddly enough her husband, Bruce Mann, is also a Cherokee. He contributed a Cherokee recipe for "Oriental Stir Fry", thereby touching a few culturally appropriated bases.

The only part of me that sympathizes a bit with Warren results from the criticism that she committed cultural appropriation. I mean, clearly she did, but so did Elvis, John Mayall, and ZZ Topp.

I don't know why hers bothers me more -- I think it's because she's so sanctimonious about it and calls Trump racist for making fun of her.

Warren obviously believes in it herself. She is a very crazy woman. Completely deluded and out of synch with reality. No sane person would have made those results public, I mean she did not only make them public by posting a screenshot on Twitter, she actually made a friggen documentary(!!!) This woman deserves no sympathy imo. Not a bone of shame in her body. The Native communities themselves have come out to shame her. Her career is dead.

How so? Her DNA test didn't say she was Half Cherokee. Do you want to see her claims?

That 'racism' charge should have done her in anyway. It's the new last refuge of a scoundrel.

A family member gets complimented for her cheekbones; "Yous got'em Injian shiekbonz, homegurl." and Lizzie takes it literally, thinking it means she has Indian blood.

The Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma have no blood degree cut-off for citizenship but you must prove you descend from an ancestor listed on the Dawes final rolls taken circa 1900. I figure that means about four generations allowing for 30 years per generation. The same is true of the Seminole Nation in Oklahoma, there is no specific blood degree requirement. I understand the enrollment criteria are different for the Seminole Tribe of Florida, a related but different entity? The Seminole were certainly from the place we now call Florida but many were relocated without, shall we say, their express permission?

Pure guess but I'm thinking the average generation turnover since the Dawes rolls closed is around 25 (I use 30 in my own estimates). People had kids at much younger ages the further back you go (and later the more recent) but that's just my observation, nothing scientific.

Warren did NOT do as you allege and therefore the slur on her character is without merit.

Yes, a colorblind society is EXACTLY what we need. FTR the Millennials are the closest we have come so far BECAUSE of integration and affirmative action. That would NEVER have happened WITHOUT those programs so however much you want to rail against them they have made progress towards the goals that MLK envisioned.

Affirmative Action, a program in which Elizabeth Warren participated, is not based on the content of anyone's character. It is racist.

Please provide credible nonpartisan substantiation that Warren benefited from any Affirmative Action program.

Has Trump paid off his million dollar agreement to Warren's charity yet? If he doesn't pay, then he'll look like a lying, spineless weaseling coward.

“I’m going to get one of those little [DNA testing] kits and in the middle of the debate, when she proclaims she’s of Indian heritage … ‚” Trump said. “And we will say, ‘I will give you a million dollars to your favorite charity, paid for by Trump, if you take the test and it shows you’re an Indian.’ "

    The crowd cheered.

I'm confused about this generation stuff; I think a generation should be about 15 years (when an female becomes fertile and capable of breeding).

Close. It's usually 30 years; the time for a child to be born, become an adult and start having children of their own. Unless you're Roy Moore, most 15 year olds aren't having kids.

    That is not the full and exact quote. He actually spoke of it hypothetically in ifs and woulds;
This is the full and exact transcription. No cherry-picking, no agenda and no lies.

Being a Millennial myself, I have to disagree with you - We have grown up in an era where Left Wing Feminism is extremely popular and is the discoursive hegemon - In media, in school and in univeristy, we are told that Whites are evil and Blacks are oppressed. We live in an era of racial quotas and where nearly everything is labelled as "racist". Millennials are not colourblind because we have been taught that being colourblind is a bad thing.Intersectionality is our generation's parole and intersectionality is all about judging people for their physical attributes.

Now, there are many Millennials who question and criticise this system, but we are definitely in the minority.

From the above it is readily apparent that not every Millennial has grasped the OBJECTIVE of intersectionality.

Not that it matters since the MAJORITY clearly have managed to learn and understand what it is all about, how it works and how to overcome it in order to achieve a "more perfect union".

As a minority, there is nothing I hate more than being told I am oppressed because of where my parents came from and how my genes look. I would never accept a job if I knew I only got it because of my name and my DNA. If I ever got to know that I was given a certain position only because I look how I look, I would resign immediately. There is nothing as degrading as being treated like some sort of helpless and unintelligent cattle.

OK, Te, you tell the rest of us what the most Warren-friendly calculation of her Indian "blood" is. The EVIDENCE suggests that the most Warren-friendly amount equals 1/64th (the least Warren-friendly calculation is FAR less than that). And, even the most race-obsessed libs consider the baseline to be a "minority" is 1/32nd -- HALF what she has at best. But what do you estimate her "heritage" to be? (This ought to be good).

Next, of COURSE integration is a very good thing. I watched its beneficial, healing effect on our country even from way back in the mid-60's when I was still in high school. The Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Voting Rights Act of 1965 took effect! The Poll Tax was eliminated! Our public schools, and all public facilities were open to everyone! And, yes, that was a very GOOD thing! Oh, and it would be another 15 years before the FIRST Millennial was even born.... 8)

But "Affirmative Action", which is nothing but reverse-discrimination, is an abomination which is the total antithesis to everything we cherish in an America that has been resolutely committed to full EQUALITY under the law since at least 1965 (the last FIFTY-THREE years). No citizen in this country should ever, under any circumstances imaginable be given any kind of advantage over another citizen purely on the basis of 'race'. If you support reverse-discrimination, then YOU and those like you are clearly the "Racists".

LOL!!! Understandable. Now every time drumpf rears his ugly fat head and begins bellowing his snot-throated, divisive, bloviations I have to hit the mute. It really is, and always has been, only a small handful of registered voters who actually enjoy that krap.
