It's a well-known fact that the Mueller investigation was never really completed. I wouldn't be surprised if new elements were recently discovered that lead to the re-opening of the case.

The warrant served is a one page doc. The affidavit/addendum is only known by the FBI and the court. When charges are laid, his lawyer's will get the affidavit.

He can most certainly release the warrant which lays out the scope of the search and probable cause..

The issue is with regard to HOW those laws are dealt with. Unless Garland comes up with SERIOUS national security documents that Trump shouldn't have had then this raid was pure made for TV propaganda. If they are going to prosecute Trump for keeping, for example, birthday cards from Putin, then they better put Trump in an orange jump suit today.

This is being beyond obtuse. Those “records” are the property of the federal government, and that property is designated by a federal law. This was never about “access” it was about chains of custody and actual ownership. Nobody is debating the ownership….FFS man the federal government owns them by federal LAW, thats not up for debate in any way manner shape or form.

Nobody was after his “personal correspondences”, NOBODY. They were there to collect the office documents that Trump had taken illegally.If team Trump was “cooperating” as you claim, then why did they not return the documents in question…..that should be easy to answer since you claim they were “cooperating”

This wasnt about “classified anything” this was about a FEDERAL LAW that makes ownership of any president document that is part of the record of his presidency being the property of the Federal Government.
