Your post is all rhetorical. These Trump suggestions were the result of suggestions from doctors who used these types of treatments you describe in your post to successfully combat Covid infection in patients.

Side note: I mean for consistency, you must give Trump the same leeway as you give Fauci, for example, when Fauci lauded the scientific method even though the conclusions of said method sometimes brings about opposite conclusions from previous scientific methods on the same subject...The mechanism of the scientific method was the reason Fauci gave for his flip-flopping on mask wearing, for example.

Second side note: Don't get me started on some of the dopey things Fauci has said: Like the reason why African-Americans get a disproportionate number of Covid infections is because of racism in America......I guess one main reason progressives do (or say) anything is because of alleged rampant racism (even for progressive scientists like Fauci).

 

Like I posted previously, why give a **** about number of infections when the US has affective vaccinations? Hum?

I've always said that hospitalisations and deaths from Covid are the stats to be concerned about. Herd immunity has been demonstrated to not be possible when variants rapidly occur. BUT the Delta variant has been the dominant variant for so long that herd immunity maybe approached as long as future variants are very closely related to the Delta variant, and those that have been vaccinated are in the majority having mild symptoms but still infecting others - which is what is needed to achieve herd immunity. Unfortunately the unvaccinated are paying for this herd immunity with their lives
