That is Pres Carter's opinion which he has a right to, other than that it doesn't amount to nothing.

Read the title of your thread, which is the same title as the link….and tell me how Carter saying he wished Mueller would go ahead and make a decision is defending Trump.

I don't hate anyone, including Trump. He's incompetent and temperamentally unfit for the office he holds, but I don't hate him.

 

Go ahead and make a decision? What is that even supposed to mean it's an investigation not an opinion peice. Stick to building homes in your free time Carter.

 

I don't think the title has anything to do with Mulehead, that's him defending Trump's policy with NK. I do think you hate Trump though simply because you can't stand anyone saying something that will end this nonsense.

 

Egad. He is defending Trump. What else can you call it when Carter says "But my own preference would be that he not be impeached, but that he be able to serve out his term, because I think he wants to do a good job." See the CBSNEWS story on it.

I'd like Mueller to hurry too because I want this offensive, unfit, self-serving, likely criminal OUT of office. And I'd like to see an example made of him so that the next Republican won't try to do the same thing only better.

 

Mueller's milking the gubt teet until Rosenstein's handler's tell him it's time to go, right before the midterms.

Here's the word that is problematic in the title- "Defends." At no time in that article did Jimmy Carter defend Trump. He simply said he wished Mueller would go ahead and make a decision. So do I.

 

It's a mission that is fishing about looking for something, anything, with which to hang Trump. That's not an investigation.
It's an inquisition.

Mueller realizes that there is no link between Putin and Trump and that his whole reason for being, as a special prosecutor,
is over. Carter happens to be correct. Mueller was charged with investigating the Russian link and since none has been found
he, Mueller, should close up his expensive shop and declare his work done.

Of course this will not please the people who have an emotional investment in the bill of goods they were sold on.

This investigation may have gone faster in more simple times. It is more circuitous, and more transparent. But, a lot more information.

 

Carter was always a nice guy, just not a leader. He nearly worked him self to death, the consummate micro-manager, in the process getting nothing (productive) done.

 

He also talks about NK, here's his statement. I mentioned this in my reply to you before and you skipped over it, another sign of dis-like.

Carter said that he would be willing to go to Pyongyang to help if the president wanted him to do so.

Trump is gonna answer for all or most of the stuff floating around now. Even if he SEEMS immune. OR that we moved on. Law creeps forward.

 

Eh, expressing an opinion isn't necessarily defending Trump, and that opinion was NOT expressed in the OP's link. Impeachment is tough on the entire country and our systems. Wanting to do a good job, thinking someone wants to do a good job, and actually doing a good job are three different things.

Carter also said if Trump did something illegal, then Mueller should make that obvious. I agree and I think he will.

I'm disappointed that Congress hasn't stepped up to do their part Constitutionally. Since they haven't, we have to wait on Mueller.

Jimmy Carter has no clue. He had no clue as president and nothing has changed. He was worthless, a peacenik, dismembered
our military and walked away from the Shah of Iran who was keeping the crazies at bay, like Sadaam. The result is the formation of the myriad and sundry terrorist groups that permeate today's landscape.
