Should have read served not seven. Autocorrect.

Henry Kissinger and Arnold Schwarzenegger were both born out of the US and both wanted to run for President. And plenty of people under 35 have strong political ambitions.

    One human being.
If one is running for president of the US it Is conceivable that he or she could win an election through write in votes for example. He or she could win the election with votes but would not be allowed to serve if they are under 35 or were born abroad.

One person. It's formal albeit stilted English.

No the non qualifying candidate would be dismissed and the qualifying candidate with the most votes would win. Why risk repeating an election that could also favor a non qualifying candidate?

Actually I wish every elected office could be up for grabs every two years.

    No.
If someone disqualified from office wins an election for said office, the winner is chosen according to the law.
In the case of the President, the VP would take office, presuming he was qualified to do so.
If not, the election would go go the house.

So a Presidential election every two years? Surely you can't be serious!

Sure, US presidential campaigns seem to go on for years anyway.

Yes but that would be presuming that the VP choice is qualified constitutionally to take the office

They can be a candidate but they cannot assume office.

Correct I did not and I’m not certain that a vp choice from an unqualified candidate world work. I honestly don’t know on second thoughts.

Probably not but they can still be a candidate and potentially win the plurality of votes.

So there's actually a distinction between being a candidate and an official candidate?
