I am not a platform, that's such an idiotic statement.

It simply boils down to this - progressives cheer this on because it's by and large "their guys" doing the banning, plus being progressive, they're no fans of free speech, hence one reason why they're not worthy of the liberal moniker.

If the shoe was on the other foot, you'd all be howling like banshees, and suddenly become hardcore 1A advocates... just like you're all suddenly free enterprise advocates.

You're not fooling anyone other than the likeminded. But it's fine, continue on as you are, because ultimately these platforms will be diminished due to their actions. You folks have already lost.

Interestingly, yes. Curious fact I learned in law school, just because the law will punish you for doing something doesn't mean you can't do it. If you hang a sign on your public business saying no blacks allowed, you will be slapped with half a dozen lawsuits that will put you out of business in no time flat (and you will lose), but yes, you have the right to hang that sign if you want to. You just have to be aware of the consequences.

Facebook is already on the decline. Banning people and groups it doesn't like is only going to send still more people elsewhere. In the end, this will be good for alternative social media platforms that struggled to gain a foothold against Facebook's overwhelming domination.
