    Side note, Trump did not legally have a college. He ran seminars that he called a university.

    All of his settlements were civil cases. Neither criminality nor jail time was ever anywhere in the picture.

    Of course not. The rich play by a different set of rules.
    If I, a not rich person, we’re to harm enough people so drastically that I ought to pay them $25,000,000 I would end up in jail. The same is not true of Trump and his ilk.
    Unequal justice is not justice.

    I know the difference. I also know I wouldn’t have the option of having my misdeeds sorted out as a civil case were I to do something remotely similar.

    You keep claiming I don’t understand one thing or another. I assure you I get how it works. I also get why many parts of our judicial system work the way they do. It’s because different people play by different rules based on wealth and power.

    Trump defrauded thousands of people for millions, and violated states laws in the process. He ends up settling in civil court.
    If I got caught stealing a $3 candy bar I’d spend six months in jail.
