But, at the start of the season it appeared that Bama would get a loss and OSU would sneak in despite the pathetic schedule.

Known by those who see clearly: Oregon was going to have a loss. LSU would falter as would Georgia. Ohio State would run the table. Clemson was over-rated

Not seen by anyone- FSU would be what they are and that Saban would just be Saban

I would prefer to see OSU vs Oregon but we'll get OSU vs Stanford. I'd like to see how Urban would handle the Ducks

I saw it.... but I'm a homer.... lol

I said at the beginning of the season, I thought the national championship would be played by the winner of the SEC (I thought Ga would be the team to beat) and they would play a team not in the top 10 preseason. FSU started 11.

I knew that Jameis Winston was a unique guy who could do big things. And would give the defense time to figure everything out (and it keeps getting better and better)

Bama still has to get by Auburn and they are playing pretty good ball.

I wouldn't count my chickens just yet.

    Here's the $million question

if he wore contacts during the games would he play better/worse/same? Why won't he wear them?

As an SEC fan do you really want to know the answer to that question? Right now he is completing 70% of his passes. These aren't 3-5 yard passes for the most part, they are stretching the field. This is creating massive holes up front to run through. Oh, and a ferocious defense that makes SEC coaches cringe. FSU is DOMINANT in every phase of the game. #SEMINOLENATION

but of course, he also tweeted about getting lucky in December 2012, too. lol

He's going to develop some new habits soon, like sitting when he urinates and handing over his juice to Bubba at chow. :)

let's review some of my statements

Oregon is not as good as everyone tries and make them out to be- proven

Muskrat is not a winning coach- proven

Mizzou :nobody saw them coming but is real- proven

FSU and Bama are the 2 top dogs- proven

LSU is one of the top teams if they would stop being boneheads- proven given how they controlled the high flying A+M team

who even saw UCF coming ?? Certainly not me

    11 games have been played

we've learned a lot and put teams to the test

What do Alabama, Mizzou and Auburn have in common? They are in the top 5 of the BCS rankings after 11 games have been played

what else do they have in common? They are all in the SEC

Now, as always occurs, the SEC eats its own and such is the case when Auburn and Bama square off and the winner then goes to the SEC championship

there is still opportunity for OSU, with its cupcake schedule to go to the big dance if Bama falters once.

but, 11 games have been played, and 60% of the top 5 are from the SEC.

despite having 3 losses, LSU appears to have finally found itself. Bear in mind that Auburn's 1 loss was to LSU and you bet that Saban is studying those films.

LSU will go 9-3 this season and should be given a good bowl game with good money.

Auburn will have 2 losses and also has earned a good money game

I would like to see Clemson vs LSU

DRAMA- will Winston be playing this week? Will he be focused? How badly will Florida be demolished on Muskrats' last game as coach? The Gators not going to even the "who gives a crap bowl game" is unacceptable in Gainesville. For "lowly" UCF to be ranked 19th in the BCS this late in the season and UF not even going bowling will be the salt in the wound at UF. Muskrat is not head coach material. He'll find a job as defensive coordinator at some school.

you sound like a Florida fan that sings the praises of the SEC to deflect away from the fact that your SEC team you cheer for is not performing to an elite level.

or you could be a Texas A+M fan, or LSU fan, or GA fan....

The ACC has FSU and Clemson in the top 5, the SEC has 3 teams (2 of which will drop out of the top 5 no matter how you look at it)

The ACC vs SEC currently this year is
    Bama over VT
    Clemson over GA
    S.C. over UNC
    Miami over FL

2-2 against each other with S.C vs Clemson and UF vs FL and GT vs GA on the slate this weekend. The SEC doesn't look to "dominant" to me.

Bama+11 league is how it's been all season

Muschamp will be back next season.... his OC and OL coach will not be, but he will get one more crack at it....

The drama around Jameis is BS and even Bama fans will admit it if you can get their hardons over the possibility of him not playing against them to go down
    http://distinctathlete.com/jameis-winston-will-facing-charges-sources-say/

but since Willie Meggs is involved (the same Willie Meggs that tried the Liberty County Sherriff over the 2nd amendment and failed) and he loves to get his name in the paper.... it may get pushed to a trial, despite any real hard evidence, or the fact that she has had sex with Jameis since dec of 2012.

but remember, even though FSU policy suspends players with felony charges.... they can override that with a vote.... so even if he is charged.... he could still play.

LSU is not a top team. they have 3 losses. beating a 3 loss Texas A+M is not a litmus test of greatness to anyone except the SEC marks who beat them

    you funny guy

If things go as they appear to be, LSU will face Baylor in the Cotton Bowl. Baylor will not be so high flying as Les has something to prove given his bad decisions this year.

I find it pathetic that any 3bloss team is being talked about in playing a 1 loss anyone in a bowl.

Lsu has proven nothing but the fact that they are an average team. They should be in line to play another 3 loss team somewhere...like miami... or maybe a 2 loss Oregon team.... that's it. You are the true definition of an sec mark, as I can't even tell who your favorite team in the sec actually is. I'm assuming its lsu, but as true for most sec fans, you cheer for the conference louder than you cheer for your team.

    Sackriding bama conference....

LSU would have won any conference not named the SEC this year.

it's conference pride. It's like family. We can beat on each other but nobody outside of the family can do that. Look at the pride that A+M and Mizzou now have. When you play in the "mini NFL" you know you're going to take your lumps but it's the best darn college football conference in the land.

    SEC baby

I do remember stating "I've got a feeling that Bama will drop one of their next few games, and we will be seeing FSU and OSU playing after its all said and done."

    LOL
