I must be in some alternate universe then, as these blogs you offer have no documented "lies" in them.

You go on and have your merry little fantasy about the evil Fox News and continue to make yourself appear bigger by insulting others.

I don't like Rush and quit listening to him years ago. But I am sick of the Left always trying to hush people up they don't like. MSNBC is the worst news and commentary station on the air. They are noted for their lies and doctored tapes. But you don't hear Conservatives trying to get them off the air, or any of the liars on that station. If people don't like what Rush says, don't listen to him. They tried to do the same thing here with our Conservative station in Phoenix.

More Valerie Plame Bull(*)(*)(*)(*) From the Republicans and Fox

By Larry Johnson on May 27, 2014 at 9:54 PM in Current Affairs

The hypocrisy and stupidity of Fox and the some Republicans was on full display today as they hyperventilated over the Obama screw up of releasing the name of the CIA Chief of Station in Kabul, Afghanistan. I t is one thing for morons like Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity to get the vapor over this, but it was compounded by the likes of Brit Hume, who insisted, ignorantly, that Valerie was just a “desk officer”.

Ok, he got it wrong. So you want to compare that to the many things MSNBC did? I don't mean getting things wrong. I mean down right lying, such as this.

Ok. For you its simply about censorship and for me its about two things.
    1. Rush is an ass.
    2. I wish fox would really be fair and balanced.

I for one get somewhat irritated when MSNBC spouts nonsense. I also get irritated when Fox does it. Fox just seems to do it more.

That said. Neither Fox or MSNBC is "news". Rule 1 of Journalism school "Thou Shalt Not Editorialize"

Both shows are editorializing ... often equivalent to the Star or National Enquirer.

As with editorializing .. you get what you came for. I do not hold Fox or MSNBC to a much higher standard than Star or NE as it would be silly to do otherwise.

How about another edited video that MSNBC did to make things out a lie?

MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow Gleefully Admits To Using Edited Video To Smear GOP

MSNBC’s propensity to selectively edit video to smear conservatives has reached a new low. Speaking on her self-titled show on February 21, host Rachel Maddow openly admitted to playing edited footage of Senator John McCain to smear the Arizona Republican.

Speaking last week, Maddow aired footage of McCain addressing a constituent whose son was killed last year at a movie theater in Aurora, Colorado, who spoke to Senator McCain about her belief that “These assault weapons allow a shooter to fire many rounds without having to reload. These weapons do not belong on our streets.” [See video after jump. MP3 audio here.]

Maddow then played McCain’s edited comments, which show him saying, “I can tell you right now you need some straight talk. That assault weapons ban will not pass the congress of the United States.”

Maddow then ridiculously admits there is editing with the clip she played, but that doesn’t stop her from slamming McCain:

Obviously, there was an edit between the end of the woman's question and the part where John McCain sneers the straight talk line at her. So maybe that edit was cut in a way that’s not fair to John McCain.

Had Maddow felt the need to play the complete clip, she would have seen Senator McCain expressing his condolences and sadness for those victims who died in Aurora, Colorado, as well as other tragic shootings. However, being a fair, albeit opinionated journalist, is not Maddow's aim:

An untruth is only a lie if it is an attempt to deceive. When the folks watching know it's not true, and the ones speaking know they know it's not true, it's not a lie. It's entertainment.

And for the same reason Fox viewers don't get irritated either.

More edited tapes to tell a lie

MSNBC Editing tapes again - Ryan chant

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney leading what looks like a failed “Romney-Ryan” chant at a campaign stop in Ohio on Tuesday, prompting an embarrassed Joe Scarborough to mutter “Oh, sweet Jesus” and a purse-lipped Mika Brzezinski to ask “What’s wrong with those people?”
You can see our coverage of Scarborough’s outburst here, but we’ve included the clip as a refresher:

    {GO TO LINK TO SEE VIDEO}

One day later, while continuing the conversation on how Rep. Paul Ryan overshadows the former Massachusetts governor, MSNBC host Martin Bashir played the same clip (minus the graphic). Although the clip Bashir aired differs slightly from the one aired during “Morning Joe,” the message was the same.
But now things are getting interesting.

If you listen closely, it’s obvious the audio in the clip has been adjusted. However, that’s not uncommon — and that doesn‘t necessarily mean it’s MSNBC who did it. Sound technicians usually cut out the audience to ensure speakers aren’t drowned out (which you can do by simply turning the mics up and down — or you can do after the fact). However, where the controversy comes in is in the caption on the screen quoting the audience as chanting “Ryan!” Why is that controversial? Because people who attended the event say that’s not what happened, and that the MSNBC video grossly misrepresents what actually occurred.

    .....
Lots of backup from other media that report differently from MSNBC

Another edited tape to tell a lie.

MSNBC aired footage today that inaccurately portrayed Mitt Romney’s remarks at a campaign stop in Pennsylvania.
Discussing how the public sector suffers from a lack of competition, Romney told the audience about an optometrist who wanted to change his address and subsequently received 33 pages of paperwork from the federal government, which begat a months-long bureaucratic nightmare during which the optometrist in question wasn’t receiving his checks. “That’s how government works,” Romney said.

Then, to illustrate the advantages of competition in the private sector, Romney shared an anecdote from his visit to the local WaWa chain store. “I was at WaWas, I went in to order a sandwich. You press a little touchtone keypad — you touch this, touch this, go pay the cashier — there’s your sandwich. It’s amazing. People in the private sector have learned how to compete. It’s time to bring some competition to the federal government.”

But in the MSNBC clip, which first aired on Andrea Mitchell Reports, Romney’s remarks begin with the WaWa anecdote and end at “It’s amazing,” an edit — first noted by conservative blogger Sooper Mexican — that makes it seem as though Romney was expressing amazement at the advent of touchtone screens.

    Still another one.

MSNBC Edits Tape of Sandy Hook Testimony to Manipulate the Public

    30 January 2013 / 10 Comments

    Msnbc-copy-300x210

The mainstream media seems to think their job is to publish state-sponsored propaganda instead of facts. The latest example comes from MSNBC.

I am not sure that MSNBC qualifies as mainstream media but they think they are so I will go with it for now.

MSNBC posted an edited tape of Neil Heslin, father of murdered Sandy Hook child Jesse Lewis, as he provided testimony about gun control. The article which included the tape was entitled, Emotional father of Sandy Hook victim heckled by gun nuts.

The only problem with the article is that it was meant to enrage people against gun rights advocates by leaving out one important segment in the tape which included a question by Mr. Heslin. Mr. Heslin asked, seemingly of the audience, why anyone would need an assault-type weapon or large-capacity magazines.

Aside from the content, the question is important because the alleged “heckling” was actually not heckling but rather a response to this question. MSNBC made it appear as if Mr. Heslin was interrupted and heckled by “gun nuts” out of the blue.

The anti-gun nuts have an agenda and they don’t mind using victims’ families to push it FORWARD.

In the unedited tape, you will see that Mr. Heslin asked a question, hesitated, and then gave the impression that silence meant no one had an answer, which prompted one person to say “second amendment” and another to say “shall not be infringed.” There are reports that other gun rights advocates in the audience spoke out. It is impossible to know the truth without having been there.

You are a hard core Republican so you will have a tendency to buy into Fox because they are spouting the party line you have bought into.

I have no affiliation to either party and bash both when I see things I don't like. When is the last time you called the GOP out on their BS ?

Here is another where MSNBC tried to pass off a Black guy with guns as a White man by focusing camera not to show any skin or hair. Local news caught it.

MSNBC is often critical of Obama and Democrats. Fox is rarely critical of Bush and the GOP.

Fox News, with Roger Ailes at the helm, is the media arm of the Republican Party. MSNBC has yet to be taken over by the Democrats although it is biased towards the Dems.

I know the Left hates Fox News. They are on Obama every chance they get. But when every news topic comes up that is important, Fox will have someone from the Left on to give their views on it. No other station does that. While I fully admit Fox leans way Right, MSNBC leans way Left. But you don't get to always hear both sides on MSNBC, or CBS and Fox doesn't lie and edit tapes like MSNBC does to make things different than they really are. MSNBC does it constantly. While the Left might not agree with Fox, I don't how they can trust anything MSNBC says, they lie so much. I don't mean make mistakes. The things I posted aren't mistakes, they are flat out lies.

    got to get supper going.

Well I don't have his record Robert. Did he ask them how it was they got on the station? If I didn't believe the story they told on the air and I talked to them later, I sure would have asked how did it come about you got on Hannity's show and did he tell you what to say? Could you post that part of it?

An exact same story I heard from a liberal radio show caller who had to take a dare to watch Fox for two weeks and to his amazement discovered it was nothing like MSNBC or the MSM was telling him and now he has it on full time.
