The remedy to monopoly was instituted with the antitrust laws.

That happened at a time, however, when there were still many in leadership and possessed of enough wealth and influence to stand up to The Money Trust as they were known then.

Now, over 100 years later, the modern day Money Trust is insulated above the government and corporations themseleves, and control all the institutions and levers of power.

They control both political parties, the media, the courts and Supreme Court, the DOJ, the State Department, NSA, etc.

Moreover, they control the radical left. They fund and control BLM, George Soros, Bill Gates, Antifa, etc.

The only true visible opposition to them now are the minority of people in the lower levels of the Republican Party, and libertarians in general. I am a Libertarian.

The Democratic Party is completely lost. They make up the political class of the growing authoritarian storm that is overtaking us.

It's too late to stop it now. America is done.

 

In my opinion, conservatives need to accept at least some responsibility for being so stupid, blockheaded and naive that they didn't see it coming.

With Big Tech, it's not so much about money as it is being in the position to control information.

The sad reality is most people are in a position to be able to get real information if they really wanted to, but are just too lazy to do so.
For most people, it's easier to just rely on someone else to do their thinking for them.

Censorship doesn't have to stop you from being able to get that information, it just has to stop you from getting that information.
And you will never seek out the answers when you do not even know the specific question to ask.

I know Facebook had a lot of people using it for crime. It's a good thing it all that was posted publicly so that they could send it to the FBI. It would have all been in secret otherwise. The FBI should have done more with it, though.
