I think Peterson is right to question them when they say they are doing it on behalf of oppressed transexuals. I think that's to a large extent their virtue signal target of the day. These same people used to say they spoke on behalf of oppressed women, but now want women to compete with biological men in sports. They say what they say very much because they want social credit and power over others. That's a huge part of it.
