MTG bought into some conspiracy theories temporarily, and unfortunately for her, recently. She figured out that she had been misled and has course-corrected.

That will not prevent Democrats from condemning her every day of her career going forward.

The House of Representatives has spent the past 3 hours talking about MTG and voting whether or not she should be banned from holding committee positions. It's looking like the slim majority party (all voting "yes") will out-vote the minority party (all voting "no") to keep MTG from being a "working" member of the House. This is another new precedent by Democrats, lowering the bar.

It's not like anyone wants Congress to actually spend time on things like Covid relief, healthcare, or anything else. The people just want each side to keep investigating and demonizing each other for things like "old Tweets". I mean, that's what we elect them to do, right?

Next time the "R's" own the House, probably in 2023, it's hard to imagine that any majority Reps will be able to find any "bad Tweets" from "D" Reps' online histories.
