I'm really pleased with the news coming out of China regarding Trump's trip,

I believe he has secured $250 billion and likely why he suddenly loves Xi Jingping

I came across Trump saying something about "balancing the scales" so I believe he did push this issue with the Chinese, it will take time though

And exactly how many dictators have committed suicide, excluding those whose countries were being conquered?

Your second point has no basis in reality given what defectors have said. People are not blindly loyal.

Then perhaps we shouldn’t put North Korea in a corner where their only recourse is nuclear war.

Threatening the nuclear deterrent of a major power is not a good idea. They won’t just sit by and let you complete an existential threat to their nation. They will attack before you render their nuclear deterrent useless.

No country is threatening America’s nuclear deterrent.

Truth: if you use air power correctly, you really don't need much of anything else except for 'mop-up'. Oh, I know, there are lots of devotees to infantry-reliant, 19th-century methods who will dispute that statement hotly, but, as we learned during and after World War II, you CAN win wars from the air -- without having to get armies slaughtered or navies sunk. Hint: "Shield-walls", "siege-engines", :"artillery", and "von Clausewitz" are all OVER-WITH....

With the focus on North Korea, if we were serious about 'removing the threat', we would simply bomb the living hell out of it, from the
AIR. Bomb it, and keep on bombing it until there is no one left capable of offering any more threats... period.

But, we won't do that, and everyone knows it. So, we'll go on making complete asses out of ourselves with this "sanctions" ploy, which will fool no one who has any sense -- BUT, it will give little Kimmy the tons of food and other crap he needs to keep his slave population alive this winter. And so life, and the blackmail, goes on... until the next time little Kimmy wants something, or until the Chinese are ready to use their North Korean puppet to leverage the complete ouster of the United States from that part of the world. Wait and see it coming with your own eyes....

[IMG].."You mean 'sanctions' won't make North Korea get rid of nukes...?" :omg: . :lonely:

That does not constitute either an existential threat (North Korea could never build enough nuclear missiles to destroy America) or a threat to our nuclear deterrent.

I dont know that and neither do you

If only one north korean missle gets though our primwtive ABM system and only destroys one major city and only kills a million liberals thats still not good enough for me

Then perhaps we shouldn’t put North Korea into a position where they have nothing to lose from a nuclear war.

He’s had the means to launch random WMD strikes with ballistic missiles for decades and been under all kinds of pressure, yet no such attacks have materialized.

Your susposition has no basis in reality.

You are really grasping at straws

Kim has not had the power to read America with an unstoppable nuclear force before

If he has that power it puts America in great danger

We have to stop him by any means necessary

Why? Why won’t our nuclear deterrent work against North Korea the same way it did/does against China and the Soviet’s/Russians?

Because north korea is not a government but rather a heritary dynasty ruled by a madman

If kim feels power slipping away from him for any reason he will die and take the world along with him

No more mad than Mao or Kruschyev. North Korea doesn’t have the economy to ever have the capability to “take the world with them”.

Far more insane than mao or kruschyev

And with far more personal power

Hitler felt the same way about germans at the end of WWII as I think kim sees north koreans

In his mind they only exist to serve him personally and he does not care what happens to them after hes gone

Relax! Nobody is going to do ANYTHING about North Korea. When Trump said that he was going to use nothing but 'sanctions' that was when we knew that the effort to make NK give up nuclear weapons and ICBM's was lost. North Korea is now an official member of "the club".

Oh, the 'sanctions' may give little Kimmy an occasional inconvenience, kind of like 'jock-itch', but nothing worse than that.

Next up -- the Islamo-Nazi crazies in the theocratic dictatorship of Iran will be announcing that they, too, have nuclear weapons. More 'sanctions', anyone? They go well with the champagne and hors d'oeuvres served at lavish, swanky 'nuclear arms talks' in Switzerland....

[IMG]. "Sanctions? Yeah, those had us shaking in our boots...." :roflol:
