Yes.

I have been to Aussie Land several times and I have enjoyed myself....and so has my Team....too much!!!

I really LOVE Australian Women and I and my Team fit right in with Aussie Men....at least REAL Aussie Men....not SYDNEYSEXUALS and MELBOURNE MALCONTENTS.

I was doing a JOB not too long ago on a few islands East of Sumatra.....F'ing SWEAT BOX HELL HOLE.....and we had some extra time as we finished early and we ended up North in Aussieville.

Now those Northern Territory Boy's...not locals but guy's like us....took us out with some pretty girls camping and drinking and we all wanted to see some big Salties.

See....in the States.....there is a lot of different climates and even where I live in Massachusetts there is many times the amount of wildlife in my own BACKYARD then is acre to acre in Aussieville but we were guests and we were polite.

Where I am typing right now if you are outside unprotected for more than 15 minutes....YOU WILL DIE!!!

Right now it is 6 degrees F. and is with Wind Chill -18 Below Zero F.....and it is only December as in January temps. could get down with a 30 mile per hour wind to....-50 to -60 Below Zero F.

Then we have Bears, Mountain Lions, Moose so big they charge FREIGHT TRAINS....etc.....so we were polite and allowed their Aussie Pride to talk about Crocks.

There are a lot of poisonous snakes in Australia but most are not the type to GO AFTER YOU!!!!

Where I live we have Eastern Timber Rattlesnakes that Adults usually grow to total length of 91–152 cm (35.8–59.8 inches and some reported total lengths at 189.2 cm (74.5 in).

But Australia is home to extremely venomous snakes.

Thing is in Australia the temps. are not going to kill you if your car breaks down unless you are crossing a desert with no water.

In my state of Massachusetts....a small state by comparison to the other 45 or so U.S. States larger....as the United States has VAST WILDERNESS and there are some areas in the middle of the continental U.S. where National Parks are greater in Area Square Miles than the entire United Kingdom....never mind ALASKA which is MASSIVE and I have unfortunately and fortunately been there to both freeze my ass off and also see natures greatness as Australia is (2,941,517 sq miles) and Alaska is (663,268 sq miles).....only one U.S. State out of 50 as well as numerous U.S. Territories such as Puerto Rico, Guam, U.S. Virgin Islands....etc....too many to list here.....as any person born in a U.S. Territory is an AMERICAN CITIZEN.....but just Alaska is almost 1/4th the entire land area of Australia and 99.999% of Alaska is COMPLETELY WILD.

So....since I am an expert in Arctic, Jungle, Desert, Ocean and Northern Hemisphere Coniferous and Deciduous Forested Zones.....I wanted to be very polite to my hosts as they were very proud to be Australian and they had a right to be.

I think American's and Australian's are VERY CLOSE in ideology and close in how we enjoy our freedom because I and my Team fit right in.

When in the U.K. there always seems to be this...competitiveness by the SAS which I try very hard to steer clear of as I am NOT Military.

But the guy's in Aussieville....well....they were NEVER playing some game of one upmanship and they seemed to understand very well that all we wanted to do for those few days was kick back and have a good time and try to act like regular people.

And the Aussie Girls REALLY seemed to understand this very well....very VERY well.

People have this strange idea that more than 20% of the country knows anything about politics. The vast majority really couldn't care less. I don't blame them - they're given a choice between two parties, both of which have no interest in being honest, both of which are corporatist through and through, in different ways. They have very weak representation. Our system is too centralized. You can't change anything when there's one representative for every 130,000 voters.

Our political debate ranges from the neurotically 'public health at all costs' left, and the 'senseless common sense' right. Both want to restrict and tax you while providing massive benefits to corporations in the form of limited liability, direct subsidies, pro-corporate monetary policy, beneficial regulation, etc.

The problem isn't the people or the politicians, the problem is the system.

Yup. American leaders use talk of right and wrong to wag the dog. They themselves are by and large not moral people and do not decide policy on such a basis.

It's also noteworthy just how far along we are in the process of transition from public rule to oligarchical rule. The transition has been quite smooth and gradual, such that even today many still labor under the delusion of having some choice and power in politics. There is cognitive dissonance at play there, I think, as they subconsciously convince themselves that their votes for their extremely limited political choices on election days are actually reflective of what they want. That is, they pick one of the two parties to support since no independent or other party has a perceived chance of winning said election, then justify that choice with notions of choosing the lesser evil and even supporting parts of that party's agenda that they otherwise wouldn't.

Democracy has failed. Perhaps it was never really successful to begin with, given how it was set up with the electoral college, very limited suffrage and so forth, but either way it most certainly has failed in modern times. All we have is an illusion of freedom and a subconscious choice to accept it à la the Matrix.

A big seller? There are many big sellers in Australia. I could rattle off half a dozen from the top of my head. The little micro brewery in my city is a big seller.

I dislike bitter beer with an aftertaste.

Give me the water tasting but relatively high in alcohol Bud Light every time.

You know....I can't remember the name of this beer but it was Aussie and I was kinda dating....granted for only weeks....this Aussie girl named Karen....she was a bartender.....and MAN could she COOK!

I am sweating right now just thinking about how well she COOKED!! LOL!!!

She knew I disliked bitter beers or beers with an after taste so she went and bought for me this Aussie beer....it had a Gold and Brown label on the bottle and it was a lager....but very amber in hue and it was almost sweet....no bitterness....no after taste....and I recall drinking it after pouring it over a very strategic part of her.

    YUM!!!

One the mass produced level I would say both are as bad as each other

On the regional basis I would give Australia a slight advantage but that is purely a taste thing

Micro-brews. Both countries produce absolutely outstanding products. As good as anywhere in the world
