I think you are saying that things are exactly the same as it was in the 50s. As bad as things are now, they are not nearly as bad as they were in the 50s. Imagine having to sit in the back of the bus because you are black for instance. Those kinds of apartheid laws no longer exist. However, it is easier to change laws than it is to change attitudes of people.

Uh no. The law changed since the 1960's. And a lot of people have change their habits, but there still is a massive group of people who still got their norms and values from the 1950's... as shown with the McMichaels case, they still are well alive among those McMichaels people, as well as with the people working for that local government, as well as with a big group who posts on this forum. That is besides there is also a group who still apply racism openly to a lesser extent, while there is yet an other group who applies racism without mentioning, as well as yet an other group who applies racism unconsciously.

And I wouldn't know how big them groups are. But to come up with a 3 out of 10, is making it seem like we're almost clear out of the woods, while racism is just so overwhelmingly present. Putting it this way, there are currently 3 rather recent high profile cases against the police force that I am aware of about racism. Were cops themselves are the witnesses of the racism of the police force (Sheffield Lake, a cop sues over the chief of police who wore a KKK hood in the office - racial harassment / DC police force is suet by 10 cops about sexual and racial harassment / Torrance police where over a dozen of cops are investigated about the racial ideas they shared with text messages, while those same names pop up in wrongful death, illegal detainment etc 85 arrest cases got binned because of it so far)

And you know. When it drizzles in the a place like the police force that should be the driest of all,... you know it's far worse elsewhere. So on average, it aint good.

No, we are not out of the woods, but we do have better mechanisms to fight it.

The mechanism is mostly using reddit, facebook and tiktok to shame the local authorities so hard to make them comply with the law. And even at that point, when body camera's are rolling and people taping what cops are doing... a handcuffed black person lying in the dirt still got lynched to death in the open in brought daylight during a 9 1/2 minute ordeal by 4 cops. The rather big and vocal movement of support the blue backs this kind of crap up.

That doesn't make it close to being a 3 out of 10. More like 7 out of 10.

exactly, we all agree that some blacks are racists against whites, that is just a fact, same as some whites are racist against blacks

but CRT is being used by white racists and black racists to promote their racism.... CRT itself is not racist
